STAY AWAY FROM TROPICANA!! We were given a room at the West tower which had a very strong moldy smell. The room was so dated also filthy with strands of hair on the shower walls and spiderwebs around the lamps. I booked this hotel based on the pictures they posted online. I could’ve saved money staying at a motel. Please don’t fall for it!

First off the Trop is great for all of the food and entertainment it is a fun place with tons of people. However, the rooms in Havana were way too expensive for what you actually get. They are outdated, the furnishings etc are worn and have seen better days. The bed is uncomfortable and not pillow tops as stated. It is clean and fine to lay your head but the higher rates and paying for parking too bla.

Stayed in room in north tower definitely time for remodeling outlets in the room where not working so we didn’t have light. The toilet was still left dirty from previous stay was not cleaned properly and last but not least the ice machine on the floor was not working as well.

I would not stay here. The elevators are falling apart. The rooms doors don’t lock properly. We had someone knocking on our doors. There were people screaming and dogs barking. We stayed for an hour and left. We did not feel safe. Do not book this hotel!!!!
