We stayed one night. It was fine, the room was spacious and clean. However the keypad on one of the elevators didn’t work and the front desk brushed that off so we had to just wait for someone to come down so we could get on a working elevator. Then in the morning we had no hot water to shower. When I mentioned it on checkout we were told that “they know”.

Upon checking in, we were notified that our King Ocean view family room had been upgraded. Great!! Not so much…we no longer had an ocean view and we no longer had a king bed. My fiancé and I had to take the room with two beds and my sister got the queen bed room. My fiancé and I are too uncomfortable in a queen bed together so we had to take the room where he had the queen and I had the double bed. For the money we paid, this was unacceptable. Aside from that, the hotel room was freezing. It was so cold that I woke up numerous times during the night, resulting in me putting on layers. By the morning I had on three shirts, flannel pants and my socks, just to stay warm. We had to wear out jackets to breakfast and throughout the hotel because of the temperature. We also overheard other people complaining about the temperature of their rooms. I’ve stayed at many of the hotels in AC and this was by far the worst. Our “upgrade” became a “downgrade”. I will not be staying at this hotel again. They leave a lot to be desired.

I wasn’t actually able to go to this booking, however, I tried to reach the hotel to find out about checking in early because of the snow storm we had and could not get ahold of anyone. The 2 times someone actually did answer, they hung up and didn’t say anything. That led me to googling for other phone numbers to the property and seeing the very recent Google reviews that said the rooms smelled like weed and guest had guns out pointed at people. So at that point I just wanted to cancel this reservation but it was too late on the Expedia app to do so and of course I couldn’t get through to anyone to cancel. So needless to say, customer service is non existent.

I stayed on the 11th floor. Only working Ice and water machine was on the 3rd floor (i heard). Soda machine sold out or OOO. Roach in the coffee pot. Very old insects on pull out bed.

It’s a good place for the family with kids. Quick check in and big and comfortable rooms. A lot of fun activities at the lobby. My son loves Karting and my daughter loves mini golf and arcades. Not too much place for a good breakfast and coffee around but delivery works great!

everything was fine except the parking , usually you pay on the way out but now when you get there and the sign doesn’t tell you when you have to pay. if you don’t pay before they give you a $80 ticket

The showboat hotel it’s self I would never stay again or only book a suite they had no micro waves in the whole hotel restaurant was never opened guest services was poorly but the island water park 10/10 recommend I would definitely take my kids back there just maybe stay else where
