OCEANFRONT TOP FLOOR UNIT at A Place at the Beach, Beautifully Renovated

The views are absolutely stunning at this oceanfront condo at A Place at the Beach! This unit is on the top floor (3rd floor) and is DIRECT OCEAN FRONT with one of the best views on the beach! The unit was completely renovated with granite counter tops throughout (kitchen and bathrooms), floors, and stainless steel appliances.

You will be able to sit and watch the waves roll in up and down the beach from your own private balcony and views are amazing! You are conveniently located right next to the private boardwalk that takes you right to the beach!

The complex features a huge outdoor pool with a 150 ft water slide that is an absolute hit with kids. There is also an indoor pool with a hot tub that was renovated for the 2020 season, as well as another outdoor hot tub. There is an on site tennis court, basketball court, putt-putt, and a fun outdoor playground with a huge courtyard lawn.

There are both gas outdoor grills nearby and charcoal grills on site for your convenience to cook up some delicious meals!

A Place at the Beach III is an oceanfront property and has a private beach access/boardwalk. The complex is arguably one of the the most fun and family friendly on the beach!

Located a 1/4 mile from Fort Macon. Convenient to Morehead City (5 mins), Beaufort (10 mins), the NC Aquarium (15 mins), Shackleford Banks, and Cape Lookout. The Oceanna Fishing Pier and Amos Mosquitos restaurant are a couple mins away. There are many things to explore in the area, although you will find everything you need for a fun family vacation right on the property and will probably never want to leave.

This unit is on the 3rd story. There is an elevator and carts to assist with loading and unloading luggage. There is both a washer and dryer inside the unit. Linens are included; Bed sheets and one bath towel set per guest. Feel free to bring any additional you feel you may need.

Off season weekend trip
Owner is excellent communicator. Home was immaculate. Highly recommend, would love to return one day. The beach was beautiful with crystal clear emerald water, we found so many good shells. So close to Beaufort and we took the ferry to Shackleford Banks and Cape Lookout.

A Place at the Beach III is definitely a fun family resort. The condo had a great view, was extremely clean and the location is perfect. The condo was supplied with plenty of bedding/linens/towels/cooking utensils, pots and pans. Everything to make a home away from home was included. We look forward to making more family memories in the coming years.

April 2024 stay at Atlantic Beach
There are so many positives about this property! The view is fantastic, you can see the dolphins in the water from the balcony. The location is excellent, just a short walk down the stairwell to the beach access boardwalk (also an elevator down the hallway if needed). The unit is well maintained and lovely with a nice kitchen and ample living area to spread out and contains a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The pool is gorgeous and equipped with a water slide which is great fun for children and adults alike! There are also grills and tables for public use outdoors as well as an indoor pool. Everything was as expected, and we would most definitely stay here again.

Fantastic ocean front get away
From check in to check out our vacation was fantastic! Condo was very clean with more amenities than needed. Atlantic Beach Getaway
We booked this spot at the last-minute. We were very pleased with the entire stay. The condo is located so close to the boardwalk to get to the beach... takes about 2 minutes to get there. The porch has a very nice view with two chairs to sit in. The owners were also very responsive to all the questions and requests we made.

Perfect Getaway
What a perfect place at the beach! From the view of the lighthouse in the distance, dolphins swimming just yards out from the shore, and picturesque boats sailing by, every part of this location was beautiful. My 5 year old loved the bunk beds and we felt we had plenty of room for the 6 of us. It was a rainy week, but we loved the close proximity of the beach to get back inside quickly and also the indoor pool to keep the kids entertained during the rainy days. We hope to come back next year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home away from home.

The property was great! All of the extras was awesome!
We loved the view and the property. The only advice would be a map in the check in packet. We arrived in the dark and had no idea how to find out which building we were in and how to get to the actual unit. There may have been a map in the original folder- and it just got removed but that would have helped for sure. We will for sure stay here again! Loved it!

Lovely beachfront condo
We just got home from our stay here and miss it already! The condo was smaller than ones we have rented in the past but it was laid out to most efficiently use all available space without feeling cramped, and the decor was so cute! I have a bad back and was thrilled that the primary bed was SO comfy and my back didn’t hurt once all week. 🙌 The condo was clean, cozy, so cute, and well stocked. The owners did a great job with the remodel! The view was gorgeous!!!! My only minor complaint would be the washer was difficult to get things in/out of with the lid opening sideways (rather than front-back) and there was mold on the primary bedroom inner shower curtain, which is an easy fix. Overall we totally loved the place!!!

Location and view are priceless but it wasn’t welcoming or well stocked, smells like mold when you walk in the door. ONE KITCHEN TOWEL NOT ENOUGH BATH TOWELS, NO EXTRA TOILET PAPER or paper towels no extra trash bags Pillows were flat No extra blankets Master bath has serious mold issues feels like you’re about to fall through the floor in the tub shower leaks out the opposite end somehow, handles are mixed up original 1980’s are not on the correct valves Both tub showerheads are about to fall off All knives are dull and pans are horribly scratched on most pans Washer and dryer don’t work well Microwave under counter light doesn’t work

Did not disappoint!
We decided to come to NC last minute and found this property after a quick search. We were so happy with everything. Check in was super easy. I had questions for the owners at different times and always received a prompt response. The condo was beautifully decorated. The view can't be beat. We have 2 kids (10 & 8) and they loved bouncing back and forth between the beach, pool, and mini-golf. Everything was a short walk from the condo. We would absolutely come back. Just book it. You won't be disappointed!

Great response when flight got cancelled and needed to check in a day early. Location and ocean view was priceless. Didn’t do any of resorts activities but beach was great. Condo had everything needed but could use extra towels, blankets, and linen. Had to use same cheap white towel the whole stay. The main complaint was the showers. The water pressure was very poor and was hard to get temperatures right. Pressure was affected when other facets were used. Would rate this as poor as when we stayed in Mexico!

Home away from home
We greatly enjoyed our stay here. We have stayed in the area multiple times but have never experienced so many amenities on one property like this one has! The unit itself was beautifully updated and extra care was made to include as many conveniences as you would have in your own home. I'm so used to overpacking to ensure our needs are met so it was refreshing to have everything needed already there! They really did think of everything and Aaron and Stephanie themselves were beyond accommodating and kind. I read the comments about the washer/dryer being difficult to access so I was mentally prepared but I'm so used to staying at places that require you to walk a distance from the unit then pay to wash your clothes that this came as a luxury. I'm a big girl and got in there just fine. I do think a lot of comments also forget how difficult it is to maintain beach properties. And the buildings themselves are older so that comes with older plumbing. Water pressure will always be an issue for buildings like this but we have stayed in places with far less pressure than here. Ultimately, the only critique we have is just a personal preference of having the bathrooms bath/shower combos updated. However, we take no issue with the existing ones. While dated, they were efficient nonetheless. We will be returning customers and couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our vacation♡ Don't skip out on this unit!

While the price was acceptable, the property can use a little TLC. kitchen faucet about to fall off No lite under microwave Screen door not usable Ceiling fan pulls are missing An extra TV in MBR would be awesome Dimmer on bar light Entry door needs a new lockset Very simple fixes, and funny thing is most them are the same from first visit, with no upgrades. LOVE this condo and the amenities of APB.... just needs a little attention to detail.
