"First if you are considering this place just go ahead and BOOK! Don't wait, you will not be disappointed at all. The views are perfect in the morning from the sun coming up over the sound and just as perfect in the evening with the sun going down. This home has it all, there was plenty of space for everyone. The dock was perfect from just sitting in the morning enjoying the fresh air to fishing and crabbing, we caught crabs and plenty of fish to eat as well. The screened in porch was nice for diners and just relaxing in the evenings. The house was very clean as well. The kitchen is very nice and had everything you would need to create any meal. This will be our stay for future visits Down East. The host communicates very well and very quick to respond to any questions. "

"Our stay was wonderful! Everything in the house is as pictured, no surprises. It was very comfortable for the two of us. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Some tips that others might find helpful…we had very high winds for a few days and you could feel the house swaying while you’re laying in bed. I learned through a quick google search that this is completely normal for a beach house on stilts. Just a little scary if you’ve never experienced that before! This is an isolated area, not much around nor many people around if you’re here during the week (at least after Labor Day). Perfect if that’s what you’re looking for, a little lonely feeling if you like seeing other humans on your vacation. The house does not have a blender, so no frozen margaritas for us :( But it was very well stocked with everything else we needed. We couldn’t find any directions for the TV, but we think it is all just streaming channels through the internet. The movies would sometimes cut in and out due to weak internet connection, but it was doable. It’s good to take a vacation from television anyway, and if you bring a good book you won’t miss it at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch with the rocking chairs and swinging bed! Dinner on the porch watching the sunsets (and sometimes the storm clouds) were awesome 💙💙💙 K & J"
