Hot with Roaches
I have a profound disappointment and frustration regarding our recent stay at this property. Firstly, upon arrival, we were horrified to discover that the home was infested with roaches. During our three-night stay, we encountered over ten large roaches in various parts of the house. Despite our efforts to control the infestation by purchasing traps and spraying Raid multiple times, the problem persisted. Waking up to roaches crawling around is not only distressing but also unacceptable for a property listed on VRBO. Secondly, the air conditioning system was malfunctioning for half of our stay. Despite closing all the vents downstairs to try to improve the cooling upstairs, the temperature remained uncomfortably high, especially in the middle of July. This issue significantly impacted our comfort and ability to enjoy the property and get kids down for bed when they are sweating. Thirdly, The house was not as described. There was construction going on in the back of the home that we were unaware of, The covered patio area was not usable or the fire pit as debris and cob webs were all over them, the exterior of the home need pressure washing as cob webs creek all over the windows and exterior, the owners bathroom shower wouldn’t stay closed and has hardly any water pressure, The kitchen tap is hard to use making you think there is no water in the kitchen! I urge you to take immediate action to address these problems to prevent future guests from experiencing the same distress!
