Hate to do this. The staff was very friendly until we had to get up a level.
My wife and I were in Atlanta for an evening out - nice dinner, shopping, nice hotel room…you get it. More money than I probably wanted to spend, but one of those special mom and dad date nights.
Aaaaaand then we found this little bug in our bed. The way we found it was the mattress cover wasn’t on right so we had to pull the sheet back to fix it, and this little guy was right there on top.
Now, if you google bed bug this one’s pretty close. Bout the right size, shape, and color, with segments on it. They of course told us it was not a bed bug, and that how do they know it even came from our hotel room?
Whatever, we’re adults. We left around midnight and booked another hotel - I sure wasn’t going to risk bringing whatever that was back to my house (I still think it’s a bed bug, by the way, however I am no entomologist). The front desk guy told me if I wanted to speak to a manager I would have to wait until morning. And so I did, asking pretty politely for a refund from the hotel we didn’t even stay at, and was told this bug was not a bed bug so I should have stayed.
So if you want maybe bed bugs maybe not bed bugs, apparently whatever this one was is A-OK to share your room. Per company policy.
