Worst hotel experience I have had in a while. Awful communication and understaffed. My brother and I met up at the hotel with his son and he couldn’t check into his room because the front staff was so out of order. His son ended up sleeping on the tiny couch in my room. There were dirty coffee pods in the room and no fresh coffee. The body wash was out. The staff charged my credit card when I told them it was for incidentals only and then they acted like it was my fault vs apologizing and making it right. Manager and staff of this hotel need full replacement if I’m being honest and I rarely give a bad review on anything.

They would not let me check-in when I arrived at 2 pm, but they assured me my room would be ready in the evening when I returned from the CFP game. When I arrived after the game at midnight, no room. Disappointing. Will NEVER stay at a Kimpton again.

I loved the doggie fountain by the elevators. The fact that this hotel was so accommodating for dog owners is what I liked the most. However, the bar seemed to be lacking in the service side. Could maybe use more service people that can actually make a drink. The single bartender seemed overwhelmed

Poorly run and managed. We stayed for two nights. Check-in was a nightmare— the first room we were given hadn’t been serviced. Our room was never serviced and the hotel ran out of clean towels. We were unable to get a shuttle ride to the airport (we were told they couldn’t drive us), and nearly missed our flight. Comfortable room, but wouldn’t return.

AVOID! DIDNT HAVE ROOM despite confirming my reservation. Paid exorbitant Uber fees to get to and from hotel. Waste of money!! Should be reimbursed but couldn’t even give me anything in writing to confirm they cancelled. Will never stay at Kimpton or IHG property again!!

This was my 43rd birthday weekend and I chose Kimpton Overland Hotel because of the location and I'm so pleasee that i did!! EVERYTHING was overly what i imagined!! From the time i pulled in until i left was amazing!! This is definitely my go to spot from here on out!! Thanks for the great customer service that was presented to me!! I didn’t realize this property was a pet friendly hotel. Just about every guest had a dog. If you are not a dog lover, I suggest you do not stay here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

While this property is convenient in relation to close proximity to the airport, it is getting a bit outdated. The carpet is old and dingy looking. My room has 2 holes in the wall that were replastered, but not repainted. So there were 2 giant white spots on the grey wall. I don’t like that there isn’t a separator between the room and the bathroom. It’s just open. While that works if you’re a couple, I was traveling with my daughter. Also, when did they start charging for parking. I don’t remember that the last time I stayed. They’re also charging $30 a night for an open parking lot that is never remotely full. I can see if there was a parking garage that constituted a fee, but a plain empty and open parking lot makes no sense. This property is not the typical standard of a Kimpton property.
