The apartment is pretty much accurate in the pictures and the host, Kate, was very responsive to our issues. It was in close proximity to the aquarium and World of Coke. We slept well and there was good water pressure and hot water. All of that being said, I would not stay here again. We had issues with dirty sheets and hairs in the shower and on the bedding, and the coffee pot had not been cleaned in quite a while and it looked like mud caked in the filter area. Kate did respond quickly and all of these things were taken care of but still disappointing to have to deal with. The biggest issue is the building and the staff at the front desk! The building is old and needs some TLC and cleaning but I could deal with that. And, you are supposed to have to use a fob to get into the building but we found that most of the time the door was not even shut all the way and you could just walk in. What I couldn't deal with was the front desk personnel. One girl was ok but very cold and unwelcoming. But, one day there was a young man at the desk who did not acknowledge us after we fobbed in until we got past the desk and I said "hello" to him. He questioned how we got it, when we checked in & it escalated from there. He even went so far as to tell me that he does not talk to women unless he is sexually involved with them or bonded to them! I kept asking him what he was talking about but got no where. He finally waved us off and told us to "just go on"! It was insulting & sexist!
