The room was huge, clean and cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Hotel Champs is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an affordable, quiet stay. I highly recommend it! "

"I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Dominica to stay here. I had an amazing stay thanks to the staff and the beautiful nature all around. Very comfortable and relaxing. I travel a lot and always stay in hotel, but this is a place of serenity. Highly recommend to stay here for a different experience from your typical hotel. "I wish I'd had more than one night to relax at this little gem of a hotel on a little gem of an island nation. The hotel arranged a taxi from DOM airport, and I was welcomed warmly and thoughtfully upon arrival. My particular needs were met with great care. My room, really a suite, was well appointed and included a fully stocked kitchen. Everyone on staff was polite and accommodating. I had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant. My meal was good, but the heat in the no-AC dining room and the constant need to shoo away flies made it a somewhat uncomfortable experience. This was the only downside, and it did not put any sort of damper on my stay. I look forward to returning if life takes me back to Dominica."

"We stayed with Kevin twice during our 2-week trip to Dominica. Kevin's place is clean and comfortable, and he's a great cook! Kevin also organizes tours of the Kalinago territory, and I would greatly recommend it! We got to meet local people who showed us and invited us to participate in various aspects of Kalinago culture. I had looked for an experience like this online but couldn't find one. In addition, we had several great discussions about Dominican history, politics, and Kalinago culture. This allowed for a much deeper and broader experience than we could get from a 2-hour tour. Kevin's place is also 5 minutes from the Kalinago Barana Aute. I can't recommend Kevin and his place enough! If and when we visit again, we'll definitely stay here."
