Cozy Cabin in the Big Woods of North Idaho

Welcome to our tiny cabin in the big woods! Our 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin is nestled in the woods of North Idaho just 4 miles from the town of Athol. The cabin features modern amenities with a rustic feel. On demand hot water, a modern kitchen, LVP flooring, custom cabinetry, electric fireplace and vaulted ceilings, all surrounded in tongue and groove pine give the comforts of home with a rustic feel.
Sleeps 4 with a queen size bed in the bedroom, a twin size futon and an inflatable full mattress.
Located halfway between Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint, we are just 7 miles from Silverwood Theme Park and 10 miles from Farragut State Park. The cabin is near multiple lakes including Lake Pend Oreille, Spirit Lake, Twin Lakes and Hayden Lake, all of which are 15 to 30 minutes away. Bring your boat we have plenty of room to park it. This beautiful cabin backs up to 2000 acres of National Forest land. Hike and explore right from the cabin. Want to simply relax? Enjoy the screened in deck for coffee or cocktails around the propane fire pit. Star gazing is a given once the sun goes down. Wi-fi is available but unreliable at times. Games and a TV with a DVD player and DVD's are available.

Towing a camper but want a break from camping? We have plenty of room to park your RV while you stay in the cabin.
If ATV's are your thing we have room to park them too. The cabin is located just 12 miles from the Bunco trailhead which opens the door to the Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District's 726,000 acres. Ride and explore scenic North Idaho from the Bunco.

The cabin is located across the lawn from the main residence but still offers privacy for the guest.
We have two dogs that are greeters. Rascal the basset hound and Legend the German Shorthair are friendly and roam the main residence area. They love attention and a good petting. We love dogs but, don't allow other pets to avoid any conflicts with our own. Please drive carefully as the dogs just aren't very car savvy. Thank you!

Nice private location off the county road. Very clean and cozy. Spent our days at Silverwood so didn’t have much time to enjoy the peaceful setting. Mosquito netting around the porch was nice to keep those pesky things away!

Kimm was so incredibly accommodating of our family, we rolled in late and had no service to message her and she came out and helped us right away - we were so grateful. This space is even better than we had thought it would be and it's right in the beautiful forest. Great proximity to Silverwood
This property was the perfect place to lay our heads after 2 days at Silverwood. We're a family of four, so the futon and air mattress worked well for our kids. Restaurants and supermarket in Athol had everything we needed. We were awoken early both mornings, once to chainsaws at first light and once to a friendly dog barking at the front porch for a playmate. Overall good stay and great location.

My boyfriend, 27 year old daughter and 14 year old son stayed in this adorable, cozy cabin! We had everything we needed. My son and daughter slept in the living room so keep that in mind if you intend on sharing with friends. It was a quick drive back after a day at Silverwood which made it really convenient. I would highly recommend!!

It was a nice getaway. I did need the wifi so the unreliability of it was a little frustrating. The house was clean and the hosts were prompt with responses to any questions I had. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and I would stay again, although I would not count on doing my homework while there.

The tiny cabin was a good place for a quick stay during our time at Silverwood and only 15 minutes away- and a nice drive at that! The tiny cabin is closer than we realized to the property owners home and the road noise was louder than expected for being pretty far down there. The cabin was nice and stayed cool. The pull out bed (just the couch, no mattress) is small but our two kids managed. The owners were very quick to respond and helpful and left plenty of notes and recommendations inside!
