"This is wonderful ground floor apartment in an old mill. It is beautifully furnished. The grounds are lovely and spacious and our children loved running around in the woods up the hill and playing in the pool. Also, seeing the herons in the weir. The town is lovely with all the amenities you could require. Burgundy also has a great deal to offer. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. No rowdy crowds of tourists here. "Our holiday was booked in January 2020, and due to Covid we had to wait 2 and a half years to take our vacation. It was certainly worth the wait. It was exactly what it said on the tin. "This property is in a renovated old building in the village of Vermenton. It is clean and functional. In some ways it is a bit basic. We had to search to find soap and body wash. We did find an almost empty bottle of Axe. The washing machine was appreciated as we did a quick load and dried them on the heated towel rack since the dryer was not plugged in."
