"Comfortable casual accommodation- great for a few days with kitchen and laundry in the unit. It was a little confusing to check in and out when not arriving during reception hours- we called the posted number and had a smooth check-in but no one answered when we tried to setup checkout for early morning the next day so we left the key fobs in the drop box and left a message and hoped. "Well equipped self contained unit. Patio overlooks the park, lagoon and boardwalk. Ideal for guests without a car. The train and central bus stop is walkable. "

"Room was Well kept and clean.pool was very pleasant. Owners very informative on what to do and where to go. We were able to see wallobies on the Helo pad. They like apples and carrots. The beaches were clean and tidy and very refreshing.A stay at the Tropical Palms was well worth the visit.."

Reading previous reviews the Reception person has a typical NQ sense of humour that is not always appreciated by all guests - but he is still very helpful and informative."

"The accommodation was very spacious. The resort was lovely, however it is not called the Horizons Nine Pool Resort which was confusing when you get dropped off at the address and the property name is Cairns One. The only negative was the tv remote in the lounge was missing and it took 3 days for anyone to confirm where it was. Otherwise great location, amazing facility. I would recommend. "
