PANORAMA hill is located at Grammatiko

Ideal location for long distance athletes (MARATHONODROMON) who want to train on the natural route MARATHON - PANATHINAIKO STADIO.
The distance to the marathon road is just 7 km away.

The village is at an altitude of 250 meters (in the square), it is 50 kilometers away from Athens and it is accessible from Marathon as well as from Marathon Lake and Kapandriti. The Grammatiko community has a population of 1,486 inhabitants and includes Agia Marina settlements with 62 inhabitants and Sesi with 133 inhabitants. The main settlement of Grammatiko retains the image of the traditional village and has all the modern infrastructure and welcomes many visitors mainly on weekends in its traditional taverns. Also in the periphery of the community is the settlement "Sesi" with the two wonderful beaches of Evoikos (small and big Sessi) and the famous taverns. In the Agia Marina settlement there is the ferry port of Attica with Nea Styra and Almiropotamos Evia
The grammatist was shocked by the fall of Helios Airline 522 on August 14, 2005. The crash was far from the settlement, while the residents, in honor of the passengers, built a temple in their memory and planted cypress trees each bearing the name of a passenger.
