Cozy One bedroom loft directly across from Piedmont Athens regional Hospital on Prince Avenue. Extremely clean upstairs unit. One queen, Smart TVs, Everything Brand new as of 8-10-21. Shared common kitchen and living room. Private steel doors on each apartment. Professional maid service. Walk to breakfast at the flying biscuit and walk to local breweries for lunch. If you have a loved ones staying at the hospital and you need a place close by to have a shower and rest, this is the perfect place. UGA games and business trips, this is your space! You can walk to breakfast, lunch and dinner! Wine sold down stairs !! You must be willing and able to walk up steps. For the safety of everyone common areas, stair wells and parking lots are under security video surveillance.

Perfect little spot for a weekend trip to Athens
This place was a great little spot. Room had enough space but was smaller than expected. It worked out well though. Very clean, communication was quick, and the location is a great spot.

Adorable Getaway Unit!
This booking was the easiest and seamless that we’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I were in town for the UGA game as he is Alumni and we were going to be out and about most of the time, so we weren’t looking for anything too crazy but that provided us comfort and a clean space to rest in. Well this place DELIVERED! The host was on top of sending us the check-in/check-out instructions prior to our trip so when we arrived we had zero issues finding the place or getting in. Once inside, it was a different configuration than we are used to, but the old building had loads of charm and we were able to find its entrance to the upper level right away. It was super clean and well put together with design elements to make it feel cozy and cared for. The room was a tad smaller than we anticipated, but truthfully it is a one of a kind place it’s setup just adds to that historical flare. Not to mention we had our own fully equipped bathroom inside and it was everything we needed. There’s been places popping up on the street as well creating a new vibe and new business such as a brewery and a small restaurant strip right next door! We were going to Uber downtown, but we decided to walk instead and it was a quick 18 minute stroll to Creature Comforts with beautiful historical homes to admire along the way. Will definitely be staying here again for future visits to Athens just the two of us!

Read the fine print
Make sure you read the fine print. VRBO advertises that you get “the full property” unlike other services. That’s why I went with VRBO for this stay with my 83 yo mom. The property description is 1500 sf but that includes a shared living room and kitchen. When we arrived there was a 1/2-naked person asleep in the common area sofa with their suitcase splayed out. Clearly they came thinking they were getting the entire property and not just the locked bedroom off the common area. We didn’t even stay. That was such a disappointment. I called the owner on arrival and he said the property listing did accurately describe a shared area and that he couldn’t do anything at MN about the person sleeping there. Disappointed. For nearly $900 for two nights that was a huge loss. I don’t think this property meets the VRBO advertised standard of “whole property.”

Good location, room for improvement
The property is in a great location, super close to downtown! The check-in process was a breeze, parking was easy, and we had no issues with sharing the common space. That being said, for the price we paid (even for a game day weekend), we were a little disappointed with some parts of the stay. The AC wasn’t working and was leaking, which made the room really humid and gave it a musty/mildew smell. Also, it would’ve been nice to have basic things like a fresh roll of toilet paper and some soap. We knew the space would be small from the listing, but just a heads-up: it’s in the corner of an attic with no natural light (the windows are covered), and the sloped walls make it tricky to move around without hitting your head. The shower is super short, so water splashes all over the floor—definitely something to keep in mind if you’re tall! All that aside, we weren’t in the room much, and the location was perfect, which made the trip great overall!

Perfect for long weekend in Athens
Loved our stay in Athens GA. This property was absolute perfect for our weekend. We were able to walk to downtown and to the restaurants. Everything was easy accessible and easy explained. Loved how the place was decorated and supplied all that we needed. We will for sure come back and book again with this owner and place. Loved it. Can’t wait to come back!!!

First Athens trip
This was my first time visiting Athens and going to a home georgia bulldog game. The location was so close to downtown, the stadium and THE BEST college campus there is. We felt very safe in the area and couldn’t beat the fact that firehouse subs was literally right next door and could walk to get some tasty food late night. The place was absolutely cute and I loved all the Georgia decorations, along with the rest of them, It felt very home like. I loved the coffee bar and even though I brought my own creamer the host had coffee and creamer ready for use. The host made every step of the way easy for us and took away any stress i had, parking, check in, check out. Our first night we arrived real late and they even went as far to turning the lights on so we weren't arriving in the dark. i would definitely suggest this place to anyone planning a trip to athens. SUPER cute and quite charming place (:
