My place, a cozy 2 bedrooms apartment, just renovated, is located in the very heart of historical Athens, next to the "Thission" metro station. Just beneath Acropolis' hill, Monastiraki, Plaka, Psiri are within walking distance. Museums, main archeological sites, restaurants, cafés, markets, art galleries, are a 10' walk away. Nightlife is diverse & easy to reach. You will enjoy the location and feel comfortable. Ideal for couples, business travelers, and families. Also suitable for lone travelers.
Space:
The recently renovated sunny apartment is located in the heart of Athens, in the Thission area. It is decorated in modern/minimal style letting guests feel comfortable. It's on the first floor in a 3storey building.
It consists of 2 bedrooms equipped with spacious closets. One of them has a king-size double bed, while the other has 2 comfortable single beds.
There is a modern living room with a couch/bed for two, being also the entertainment center of the house, with a 40in flat TV and a home cinema set and a variety of DVDs. Wired and Bluetooth connections are available to enjoy music from your own devices.
Next to the living room, there is an elegant dining room.
A fully equipped, open space kitchen and a bathroom including all amenities complete the 65 sq.m. apartment.
Both bedrooms and kitchen have wooden floors while the dining area and living room have a stunning vintage mosaic floor. (see relevant photos).
Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available to all rooms. Furthermore wired connection is included in all rooms.
There are three independent air condition units (one for each bedroom and a third for the living and dining room) that can keep you cool or warm any season.
In addition, for wintertime, there is a central heating system in place, but usually do not need extra heating.
Guest access:
Full access to the whole house.
All the facilities of the house (balconies and common areas) are accessible
You can relax and feel totally comfortable: You are on a holiday!
In the house: feel as at your home respecting the space where you are a guest, pick up a book, put your clothes in the closets, cook yourself a great meal using kitchen tools and amenities, use the fridge and the dining area, have your breakfast on the kitchen's countertop, etc.
In the common areas and on the balconies: feel as at your home respecting neighbors.
Interaction with guests:
Whenever you arrive, I meet you to deliver house keys and guide you to the apartment's functionalism and the chances that the area and the whole city offer.
I am always at your disposal to help you and answer all your questions you may have.
Other things to note:
We expect people to behave with respect for the place and other people, and to feel like they are at their own home in Athens!
The Neighborhood:
You are in the heart of a vibrant central neighborhood, one of the most touristic and sightseeing neighborhoods of Athens. It is also considered a very safe one.
Though extremely central, the house is in a tranquil street, where you can relax around the clock.
You can satisfy all your daily needs and procurement in the vicinity.
Supermarkets, bakery, fruits shop, etc are just around the corner.
Restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars can be reached in a minute.
You will also have the privilege to be next to the national observatory, Ancient Agora, Temple of Hephaestus, broadly known as Thissio, and a variety of parks suitable for family and/or romantic promenades. Herakleidon art, science, and Mathematics museum is also an attraction, especially for kids.
Getting around:
Walking is your first option, because of the great location of the apartment.
The closest train/metro station is Thissio (To Piraeus Port/ Green Line -No 1) only 2min away by foot.
Monastiraki (Airport Line/Blue Line -No 3) metro station is only 8 min away by foot
Acropolis metro station ( Red Line- No 2) is 12 min away by foot.

Acropolis Museum: 15 minutes
Ancient Agora: 2 minutes
Kerameikos archeological site: 5 minutes
