"Restaurant and location. Jacob, our waiter several nights was personable, attentive and fun The restaurant was a great location outside in front of the hotel. It would of been better if they seated smokers at one side of the outdoor restaurant and non smokers at the other. Germany in general allows smoking at outdoor seating which can be unpleasant for non smokers"

"Marco checked us in, showed us to our room, and explained everything in the room. We had a beautiful view of the river and castle from our balcony. The restaurant food was great and Marco also took our order and sat down with us and answered every question about the area. The absolute best service I've ever had!!! "I really like this hotel, the bath was a bit small but everything else was great. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel restaurant has AMAZING food, high quality and delicious with good prices. It is walkable to many sight seeing locations such as the city center, wineries, amazing lift to top of the mountain and nature hike etc. We were very happy."

"Great place and great location. One major drawback however is the Glockenspiel, on a tower inside the hotel courtyard, that rings for several minutes every hour on the hour from 10 am to 10 pm. You can not only hear it, but feel it in the nearby rooms when it chimes. Can be very annoying for one trying to take a midday nap or who has gone to bed early. (Also, I discovered too late that had I booked directly with the property, the parking would have been free and the taxes reduced.) "
