Stay at RE Artu

Ginestra is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. The grounds and swimming pool are really good and there are views to Assisi (which you can walk to (35-40 minutes). The Property Management team are all very helpful and the food the prepare is very good as well as the local restaurants. On the negative side, we did not have very much outside space and our table and sitting area were part of a shared area where other guests had breakfast or dinner so was not very private. The other one was that the internal hobs for cooking were not working properly so it meant self catering was not easy.

The property was on the pilgrim trail to Assisi. The bells from the basilica of St Francis echoed across the valley in the evening, an experience I'll never forget. We saw hoopoes and swallowtail butterflies. The home cooked suppers were a real treat – three courses! Absolutely delicious. There were others staying in separate apartments. This caused a few issues for us as the group above us were night owls and did a lot of late night drinking and chair scraping. Nothing some ear plugs couldn't fix.

Vacation in Assisi as family

We enjoyed our stay at the estate a few kilometres from Assisi very much. The apartment was well equipped and had a lot of space. The site has a great view, is quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately for our kids the pool was closed in October, understandable because the temperature dropped below 20 °C. We had a great week and we will come back, that`s for sure. Thanks for your hospitality.

De ontvangst was hartelijk. We waren te vroeg maar mochten meteen in het appartement en kregen een drankje aangeboden. De accommodatie was prima. Een prachtig uitzicht op Assisi, te midden van de olijfbomen en de wijnranken. De plaats ligt erg centraal om de omgeving, met zijn prachtige steden ,te verkennen. We hadden een heel leuk contact met onze gastvrouw Anna. We hebben erg veel plezier met haar gehad en werden regelmatig verwend met lekker eigengemaakt gebak.

Een prachtige plek mooi in de heuvels met uitzicht op Assisi. Een centrale plek om van daaruit umbrie te ontdekken. Mooie stadjes en natuur en Assisi dichtbij om 's avonds lekker te gaan eten. Je moet wel voor alles de auto nemen want er zijn geen voorzieningen op loop afstand. Wel kun je op de locatie ontbijten en 's avonds eten. Er wordt dan heerlijk voor je gekookt.

Met een prachtig uitzicht op Assisi, de Rocca en de San Francesco en veel wandelgelegenheid was het voor ons enorm genieten. We hebben veel rust ervaren en we werden met open armen ontvangen door ons hostess. Het zwembad lag er schitterend bij en ze kunnen er heel goed koken!

Endroit de rêve, avec une vue imprenable sur la ville d'Assise. Calme et sereinité au rendez-vous. Très beau gîte et très belle piscine. Tous les petits villages aux alentours sont magnifiques. Nous avons été très bien renseignés (avec passion) par nos hôtes (qui sont charmants et très sympathiques) sur tous les curiosités de la région (culturelles, paysagères et....gastronomiques). Petit resto à Ermio (à 5 minutes d'Assise) avec vue imprenable et une cuisine locale à tomber par terre ! Bref...un pur plaisir partagé en famille. On reviendra

Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt. het uitzicht op Assisi was adembenemend mooi. Tijdens ons verblijf eind juli was het erg warm. De appartementen bezitten geen airconditioning. Dankzij de koele wind die 's avonds opstak en de zwembad was dit geen probleem. Vanuit het appartement kunnen stadjes als Assisi, Spello en Gubbio makkelijk bezocht worden met de auto. Ook Perugia is snel te bereiken. Ook voor natuurliefhebbers is genoeg te beleven in de omgeving. Kortom, een prachtige uitvalsbasis om Umbrië te verkennen.

Die Ferienwohnung ist super geräumig, hat 2 Bäder. Man Hat einen Blick auf Assisi und kann die Stadt mit dem Auto schnell erreichen, ansonsten in der Anlage aber dem Trubel entfliehen.
