Comfortable hotel in stunning location
This is a comfortable hotel with stunning views across the Drammensfjord. I am sure the hotel comes into its own in the summer, but this was January and very much in the off-season. Nevertheless we were made very welcome by the courteous and friendly staff. The bedroom was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The gym and pool are excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

«En reise gjennom havet» - noen mangler
Det var et fint sted, gode senger og villaen vi boddd i var i grei stand. Beliggenheten veldig fin. Middagen var bra, dvs msten var veldig bra, vinene hadde gjennomgående lav standard. Service under middsgen var dårlig. Personalet manglet opplæring og systemer sviktet litt. Vi hadde bestilt tre retters for 5 personer og gitt tilbakemelding på gluten allergi. De kjente ikke til bestillingen vår, vi fikk et bord for fire personer og servitøren hørte ikke etter eller forstod ikke norsk. Dårlig service og vin la en demper på ellers god mat.

Nærheten til strand og salt sjø kort vei til Holmsbu med utesteder Men dessverre var mitt rom dårlig tilgang til frisk luft, ingen airconditionen og vinduet bare til å lånes med en liten glippe, ergo ble det for varmt å sove i. Rommet var lite sitteplassen var i sengen. Dette var skuffende til den prisen.

For varmt, dårlig frokost, slapp betjening
Skuffet over manglende aircondition på rommet da vi leide en suite til kr. 2700.- pr.natt. Over 40 grader på rommet med terrassedør åpen på kvelden. Dårlig frokost med mugne glutenfrie rundstykker, dessuten veldig vanskelig å få kontakt med frokostansvarlig. Flott anlegg ellers.

Meget skuffet. Et Spa-hotell hvor uteområdet «krydde» av skrikende barn som var hytteturister i området. De fylte bassenget og okkuperte de 8-10 solsengene som var plassert ut. Hvor i hvertfall 2 av disse var ødelagt. Inne var det støvete og skittent i spisesalen, hvor døde fluer lå spredt i vinduet. Barområdene ble tidlig stengt. De ansatte gikk fra utebaren i stekende kveldssol ved 21 tiden. Skulle du ha noe i baren inne, måtte du ta kontakt med servitørene spisesalen. De var ikke akkurat «happy» for å blande drinker. Kommer ikke til å anbefale dette hotellet til noen

2 dagers opphold på Holmsbu Spa
Skuffet over standarden på rommet vi fikk, samt renhold som var veldig dårlig. Virket som det ikke hadde vært noen der på en stund mtp alt støv og spindelvev som vi fant rundt omkring. Ellers, flott sted med bra service og god mat i restauranten. Synd renhold skal ødelegge opplevelsen.

Supergod 3-rättersmeny
Hade en mysig helg som bjöd på fint väder. Supergod mat i restaurangen, åt både pizza till lunch och 3rätters på kvällen och det var helt gudomligt. Vi hade lite saker vi tyckte de kunde förbättra. Som tex att komma lättare ut till hav/ pool/öl när de är fint väder, eventuellt ett område på spa där man kan ligga o relaxa i solen. Bättre ventilation i resturang då solen lös in så starkt o skönt men blev obehagligt att sitta en längre tid så blev bara en halv flaska vin. Lite möjlighet för något tilltug som frukt eller te i spa avdelningen hade också lyft upp ordentligt. Var också väldigt mycket barn så de är nog ett palats för barnfamiljer. Men allt som allt är vi nöjda med vår vistelse men med tanke på de som nämt plus att de var så barnvänligt så åker vi nog inte dit nästa gång för o ta en skön spahelg utan mer för att bada, se den fina miljön och äta god mat :)

Veldig bra hotell, mat og beliggenhet. Det eneste som trekker ned for vår familie er at det var kaldt i basseng/spa området, og kaldt vann i hovedbasseng og utendørs boblebad

Loved the pool area , great for the kids, and the hotel is very clean. However, food is disappointing (poor quality and expensive). If you stay in a unit with kitchen, better bring your own food.
