"A new property right on the river in the historic area of Ashtabula which gives the hotel a really cool retro/modern vibe. A number of restaurants and coffee shops are within walking distance and the Sky Bar & Cafe on the top floor look over the river and historic bridge. I stayed in the depths of a cold snap but I’m sure in warmer months there’s lots of activity on the river and along the main drag. Really enjoyed my stay. "

"Marcus was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a bit early so we could make our Thanksgiving meal. “Thankfully.” We were able to check out the beach before the 3-1/2 feet of snow fell in 24 hours… certainly the beach would be lovely when better weather conditions prevail. Our dogs enjoyed the large lot as well as the beach. Marcus made sure we were able to get our cars out of the ice/snow and was very responsive. “Snowmageddon” truly made for a very memorable Thanksgiving. ...

"The property was exceptional. The host/hostess have many outdoor activity supplies available for guest to use. The river is amazing, everyone caught fish! We saw eagles, had campfires, relaxed in the hot tub. The home is secluded with nature and peacefulness, yet is accessible to shops and restaurants only a few miles away. The property owners were very pleasant to work with. I’ll give Eagle River House 100 Stars !!!!"

"Beautiful property and surrounding areas. The Inn was amazing and had high quality products throughout. It was one of the nicest places we have stayed within the15 years we have been taking these trips. The only issue for others would be the stairs to the second level if you have existing problems with stairs. We had a fantastic time at this property!"
