Week at Little Ripple
Excellent cottage very conveniently situated in the heart of Kent. A short drive from the lovely village of Wye. Wye has lots of charm and great facilities including restaurants, pubs and a Co op. Also has a train station with regular services from London to Canterbury and the coast beyond. Great if you don't want to drive every day. Also lots of footpaths from Wye for great walks on the North Downs. Close to roads that made it easy to tour the county. The cottage itself is modern and well equipped; everything we needed for our stay. Altogether we had a fantastic holiday. The only slight negative is that it is quite isolated. Situated on a farm which is all private land and no footpaths without a roadwalk. Consequently it wasn't possible to go to a local pub etc without driving. However this wasn't a major problem and we would fully recommend the cottage if you want to visit this beautiful part of the country.

Comfortable, Clean and Well Equipped Cottage
This cottage was in a quiet location set in beautiful countryside. It was very clean, very comfortable and perfect for couples. The kitchen was well equipped, but would benefit from replacing the large, family-sized fridge/freezer with a smaller fridge/freezer and utilising the extra space created with a dishwasher. The television is partially obscured by the couch, which could be raised up by mounting on a wall bracket. The cottage would be fully dog-friendly if the small patio garden could be fenced, which would allow the patio doors to be open without fear of the dogs disappearing. The cottage was a delight, and located close to many excellent pubs and restaurants, and exceptional Farm Shops, stocking locally-grown and raised food. The peaceful location, between Wye and Crundale, is a perfect base for town, countryside and beach excursions, being only a few miles to the coast and very close to Canterbury, Folkstone and the East Coast/Thanet towns.

Country Stay
Overall we would give it a 4. Rooms comfortable. The bath never got hot enough and the shower and kitchen faucet were scalding. Couldn’t regulate easily. Never had human contact with anyone concerning cottage set up.
