Scammed
I attempted to contact the owner to receive check in instructions the day before we arrived but we didn’t get a reply. We arrived to find someone else already staying there or living there. They didn’t speak English well but we were able to communicate and understand that I was at the correct address however they were already staying there. Being it was 9pm, we didn’t stay there long and began making emergency accommodations. I called VRBO’s customer service, who is working on a resolution. I have yet to hear back from the owner. I have stayed at numerous VRBO properties without issue, including several during this family vacation.
