"Nice cabin in the woods. Good for our little kids, nice yard for them to run around in and they loved throwing rocks into the creek out back. Short drive to town for essentials. "

"We choose this location mainly for hiking, locally and Mt Rainier. The property was clean and inviting; a great base station. Plenty of kitchen essentials and the family games are a nice touch. Packwood has a few food/dining options, breweries and a grocery store. Prices at the grocery store were as expected from a remote/local store, and the variety of food selection was good. The hot tub was great after hiking all day, but could use some maintenance. Overall a great stay."

Hot tub for relaxing on a cold winter night

"The property was beautiful. Loved the outside space!! Deer came one morning and my son was able to be outside and observe them. The kids loved the infinity game table. Brand new, great amenities. The stools are toe stubbers, an extra chair in the corner would be great along with a coat rack or closet. Loved the space overall. Would definitely come back!! "

"Our work team of six stayed at Elkhorn Cabin while working in Randle. We were working at Cispus Learning Center for the week. Appreciated the well stocked house and easy to use kitchen with plenty of space to park our work trucks. Great food options nearby in town and excellent IGA grocery with everything we needed. Made coming home late and leaving early each day easy. Thanks for sharing your space. It’s a great house! "

"We stayed at Darla's property for 4 nights. She was incredibly responsive to communications, and gracious, as we had to adjust our arrival date and time, and then were so relaxed we decided to stay an extra night! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The beds were comfy and the towels plush! I had asked in advance about fragrances (in laundry detergent, soap, etc) and Darla checked with the cleaner to confirm what products were being used. I'm highly...

"Very clean and convenient to Mount Rainier National Park. We took off our shoes which we always do but it would be nice to have shoe rack and mat just inside because deck was wet. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and spices.Little confused about the hot water heater in laundry room but figured it out.Beds were comfortable.Upstairs loft nice but not great for taller people.Overall a great place to stay if going to Mount Rainier."

"We loved our time here. The cabin was great for our family of five. Our kids loved the playground, hot tub, and watching the chickens. We all enjoyed heading down to the river to explore and throw rocks. Our two tips would be to bring nightlights if you have kids staying upstairs as the only bathrooms are downstairs and to bring slippers because the stone floor stays fairly cold. We loved having a few days away from real life and a great cabin to build more family memories at!"

"Highly recommend, especially for multi-generational families. Walking distance to both Packwood and the Cowlitz river. Elk wandered through subdivision every morning! Really enjoyed the ping pong and shuffleboard tables, as well as the hot tub. Super clean and organized, with clear labeling of kitchen cabinets (a nice touch). Overall, a great experience!"

"We needed a place to crash near the entrance to Sunrise so that we could get in early when we didn't have a reservation. This cabin served as our base camp and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. "

Nisqually Nest Mt Rainier hot tub and sauna

Great little cabin

"We enjoyed our stay in the Nisqually Nest. It's a lovely, clean cabin in the woods. Plenty of towels were provided. It's well stocked with plenty of staples and pots/pans/plates/cups/stemware for cooking/eating. It's got a lot of little things too that are really awesome. Like a heated bathroom floor, a mini split heat pump that provides adequate heat for the whole cabin, robes, slippers, etc. We had a power outage while we were there and could have used the generator but decided it was best just to snuggle using the battery powered candles in the dark and hot fire in the wood stove. We'll be back!"

"Cute little loft above a barn that was well equipped and super close to Mt Rainier Park. Enjoyed hiking during the day and enjoyed soaking in the covered hot tub afterwards. Would definitely recommend for a couple. "
