The primary bedroom benefits from a full en-suite bathroom with an elegant bathtub and contemporary fixtures. A sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps an additional guest, and a second full bathroom ensures comfort and convenience for all.

The convenient in-unit washer and dryer will keep you looking and feeling your freshest while you immerse yourself in Asheville’s many charms.


Most guests have a personal vehicle, though Uber/Lyft/taxis are available. The unit’s location offers easy access to the parkway via Town Mountain Road which leads to the parkway off College Street.
The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), 15 miles away, or Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), 77.5 miles away.


Security cameras are in operation in public spaces, and commercial sprinklers and fire alarm systems are fitted throughout the building.

This unit is on the second floor, there are many steps to access the unit, and the building does not have an elevator. For this reason, the unit is not wheelchair accessible and is best suited to active people and light packers.

Parking is not included but is available nearby. Choose from a gravel lot across the street or a public garage two blocks away (at 164 College St) for $12/day. City of Asheville street metered parking is also available 8 am to 6 pm for $1.50/hr for a maximum of two hours, free after 6 pm until 8 am and on Sundays and holidays.

This apartment is in an urban area with two nightclubs neighboring the building, so It can be very noisy at night when the club is open: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Noise is a non-issue the other 4 nights of the week.

For the added comfort of our guests, the windows feature architectural soundproofing with thick engineered glass to dampen exterior noise. We also provide earplugs and sound/noise cancellation machines. Nonetheless, some noise may be experienced and the unit may not be suitable for light sleepers.

City of Asheville Issues a System Wide Boil Water Notice

The City of Asheville Water Resources Department has issued a Boil Water Notice for all City of Asheville water customers due to loss of pressure in distribution system pipes and levels of turbidity (particles) in the water.
A Boil Water Notice means there is contamination due to impacts from Hurricane Helene including the potential for untreated water in the distribution system from pipe breaks and levels of turbidity that exceed Safe Drinking Water Act standards initially used to restore water pressure. Your water may look cloudy and/or have a chlorine odor. 
It is REQUIRED for customers to vigorously boil tap water for 1 minute before consuming it. Once laboratory testing of the system confirms the possibility of risk is not present, customers will receive notification that the boil water notice has been lifted.

How to minimize your risk
Buncombe issued this guidance for avoiding sickness Oct. 28:
Use safe water:
* Use bottled or disinfected water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth.
* If boiling: bring clear water to a rolling boil for 1 minute.
* If using bleach: add eight drops of bleach per gallon, wait 30 mins.
* Avoid well water until disinfected and tested.
Practice hand hygiene:
* Wash hands with soap and clean water, or use sanitizer (60% alcohol).
* Key times: before eating or preparing food, after bathroom use, after animal contact.
Sanitize food prep areas:
* Clean surfaces with soap and safe water.
* Use bleach solution (1 tbsp bleach per gallon of water) for sanitizing.
Follow food safety:
* Discard unrefrigerated meat/dairy.
* Cook food thoroughly and consume it hot.
*  Avoid raw foods unless you’ve peeled them yourself.

Great location and nice accommodations but..
Really great location! Very nice and newly decorated place! Inexpensive parking deck that was very acessible a couple blocks away! All great reasons to stay here! Definitely need to pack light as advised because two flights of old steep steps to get to the unit. And be prepared if you are staying on a Thursday or weekend night. Unit was loud with music from neighboring music venue until 2AM. Either plan to stay out or know you will most likely not sleep. Sound machines and ear plugs are provided but did not really help.
