We loved easy access to downtown Asheville. Great to return to our quiet, comfortable, private apartment.
The location is great, just a 10-20 minute walk to anywhere downtown. Just off the beaten path, so it’s an affordable and quiet place to stay, equipped with all basic needs. Just as advertised :)
Great little apartment a short walk into brewery areas
The apartment was well appointed and had everything that would be needed. Parking was easy on site, and walking down to the south slope brewery area or downtown was easy and convenient.
This was a great place to stay for a night on the town. We attended a show at the Orange Peel and we were able to walk in about 10 mins. Not only was the location great, the apartment was clean, inviting and comfortable. Our host was responsive, but allowed us the privacy needed. This will definitely be a place we will book on our next trip to Asheville!
We loved being walking distance to everything downtown. Prepare to walk up up up the hill, but not far overall! We had a great time going for city jaunts and finding nearby hikes (driving distance less than 15 minutes). We would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time staying at this place. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. The owners live upstairs and are very kind. The location was just what we needed. We walked all over downtown each day and night.
Great location! Clean and nice for 2 people. No TV which isn’t a big deal, but would be nice when taking a break and hanging around the place. Great place though.
This property was as it was pictured on the site. The kitchen is well stocked with needed items. I loved the real plants situation around the apartment. The hostess and her daughter were friendly and kind. I felt the area was safe. I was very grateful to have off street parking.
:)
I do not have one complaint to make about this property!! The location alone is INCREDIBLE. We are from out of state and visited asheville for the first time. This property was so close to everything that we wanted to do! So many good and highly rated breweries, bars, and restaurants in walking distance or very short drive. We did the Biltmore which is also very close. The property is great for 2 people. The kitchen is very large with full size refrigerator and makes the place seem so much bigger. Is nice that the bathroom is set away from the bedroom and also has walk in closet. The owner had great communication and was extremely accommodating. Would easily stay again.
Oh yeah- previous people commented on the hill. It wasn’t bad but if it’s warm out you’ll break a sweat. Definitely not a deal breaker and thank you so much for having the motion lights toward the entry!

Asheville weekend
Overall apartment location was good. Access was good. Issues of concern: no thermostat for regulating temperature. After an 80 degree day apartment was uncomfortable when returning in evening. Biggest issue was the bedroom. Needs either blackout shades or curtains due to bright floodlight just outside the bedroom because the light would keep the bedroom very light at night. After we left, the owner let us know the floodlight could not be turned off. If you can sleep in a well li room go for it. Rest of apartment was good.
This property, in an older neighborhood very close to downtown, is exactly like the pictures shown, and is just right for 1-2 people. It is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The path down to the back door was a little steeper than I expected, but nothing I couldn't handle and I am in my 70's. It is a short walk to the heart of downtown, but is hilly and quite steep, so I do not recommend walking unless you are fit and used to it. It is less than a 5 minute drive to the center of the city. Owners
were nice and very responsive to my questions. There were some previous comments about the lack of darkness in the bedroom, but we did not experience that. The shades were dark enough and there was no outside light that stayed on. The outside light is motion-activated. I recommend this place and would gladly stay there again.
As everyone mentions, the walk from town is no long, despite the hilliness. We appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, though there were a few problems -- the fire alarm went off for no apparent reason in the wee hours once, so we didn't get much sleep that night. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
