"Such a beautiful room in a lovely area of Bourton on the water. The hospitality, breakfast, attention to detail, we couldn't ask for more. Short walk to all the shops, eateries, pubs, grocery and pharmacy. The only potential downside if you cant do stairs, request a room on the ground floor. "

"The property itself was wonderful. We had a lovely room at the top of the building. Furnishings and cleanliness were excellent. 2 drawbacks- if you were elderly, or not in the best of shape, carrying cases to the top floor would be a difficult task. Unfortunately, we arrived in 29 degree heat, and the room was extremely hot!!!! Great walking distance to Oxford city centre!"

"Convenient for town centre. Warm and comfortable. If you go out for the day you will loose your parking space. Park on Halfords till a space becomes available."

"A really calm, peaceful place with the unusual benefit of a microwave and fridge in the good-sized room. Because of its position on a main road, getting into and out of the parking area sometimes requires patience, particularly if someone is coming out of the car-parking just as you're trying to turn into it, but that was a minor issue. "Arrived mid afternoon and was welcomed by a couple of friendly staff. The Dining area was nicely set up and the place was nice and pleasant and clean. I then enquired about evening meal only to be told they did not do food except breakfast and there was no bar. This is not what is advertised on hotels.com so please be aware of this when booking. The bedroom was small but clean and pleasant with an average shower. There was plenty of tea/coffee facilities and water plus a fridge & microwave in...

"If you like old and quirky then this place is ideal! Yes it’s a little tired and could do with a little tlc in places but the bed was comfortable (which for me is a huge plus). It’s in a very convenient location for walking around town. Plenty of cafes etc nearby as well as Sainsbury’s and Co-Op. "

"The property is a lovely looking building with lots of character and quite eclectic inside. I have to say that the owner Leo was a strange character who barely mumbled 3 sentences during our stay. He didn't ask how we slept, if everything was ok with our room etc, no conversation at all which felt very uncomfortable. However the breakfast he served was nice and well cooked."

"Stayed here for 2 days. Very close to the train station, as well as the bus stop for local buses to nearby villages. It was perfect for my needs. Bed was comfortable as well, and I slept like a baby. NOTE: There's no door to the bathroom (only a curtain). If you're sharing a room, make sure you're comfortable with this."

"Super nice staff with easy check in and out. Right in the middle of town with grocery store really close. We rented a car and toured the area. Beautiful! Shower water could have been a little hotter but, everything else was GREAT! Including the breakfast. Highly recommend the B&B."
