"Loved the facilities and the restaurant menu very pleasing with very attentive staff although we were disappointed with the poor communication regarding arranging a late check out this issue was resolved as the Manager Mathew did leave us feeling happy as we departed as he took the trouble to explain the situation Based on our experience we will certainly stay again Highly recommend this hotel "

"We had a really lovely stay at the Royal Forester. Check in with Tracey was speedy, friendly and easy. We were shown to our room early and found a large, wonderfully decorated room with new shower room. The room had all the facilities we could need and the bed was incredibly comfy. We would definitely stay again. "

"A charming older property from the outside. The stairs were a bit steep. I didn't like the fact that the key had to be used to unlock and lock the room making it hatter to flee in the case of an emergency. The shower in my room was tiny. The people were lovely and keen to help. "

"I wasn’t expecting to find this was staying in a domestic house and that could have been made clearer. I was shocked by tHe overwhelming strong dog smell that hits you as you enter as well as the large barking dog. As someone with allergies it left me wheezing and with itchy eyes all night. Otherwise it’s clean and fairly comfortable and the lady is very pleasant "
