Agricola Neci: Tuscan Rural Luxury with Housekeeping, Infinity Pool and a Lake

Where can you escape the world and slow down your pace? Where can you find an untouched land that still maintains the old customs of a rural culture that not even global technology has touched? The answer is quite simple: Agricola Neci, a mansion house made up of 4 independent suites (each one with its private entrance, bedroom, bathroom and living room) and a common dining room and kitchen.

Agricola Neci is immersed in a 642 acres estate, where you can enjoy intimacy, privacy and relaxation in a secret world surrounded by the Tuscan countryside. Spend your time reading books, eating and drinking or enjoying the sites of our 642 acre estate. With truffle beds and olive groves on the estate, you can dedicate yourself to truffle hunting or harvesting olives to help make our very own olive oil - Olio Nece.

If you are keen on athletic activities, there is plenty of things to do including kayaking in the private lake of the Agricola, swimming in a 90 ft long infinity pool, walking up and down the hills or cycling in one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes. And if you are a fan of vintage bicycles, you can even participate in the famous Eroica: a race on ancient roads using vintage bicycles, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and fuelled by a mouth-watering selection of food and wine.

And if it rains? You still have many activities to choose from including visiting the famous Archabbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore with its Renaissance paintings on the life of St. Benedict, or touring Siena with its museums and art galleries. Or try Montalcino, the beautiful village in the breathtaking Val d’Orcia, renowned all over the world for the production of its precious Brunello wine.

Whatever you want to do, one thing is for sure: during your stay in Agricola Neci you won't get bored!

Fantastic Stay
What an incredible place! Patrick and his team made our stay a luxurious and memorable experience! The estate, especially the infinity-edge swimming pool are surrounded by stunning views of quintessential Tuscan courtyside, which made for some pretty epic sunsets! We also loved the lake and th golf buggies! The rooms all have private access so you have the privacy of a hotel, but with the common areas and kitchen, which were very well equipped. The daily housekeeping and cleaning of the common areas were a big plus! Patrick's communication was great and he was quick to respond and accomodating. The property is located between Siena and Montalcino/Montepulciano and very accessible for day trips/dinners out, not that you'll want to leave! We were utterly spoiled by Patrick and his team and would love to go back! Would highly recommend, 10/10!

Wow - Just Perfect !
Thankyou Patrick for a truly wonderful 5* experience. Ava everyday made our stay feel very special as our daily host. Our stay lived up to and beyond all expectations and would highly recommend the activities with Truffle Hunting, Pizza making and our Pasta course, and not forgetting the first night with our private chef. Thank you again Patrick for the links to all locations nearby and would like you to add another for your recommendations, namely 5 mins away, I actually cycled, to the Monastery Monte Oliveto Maggiore which aside from the monastery has it fully licensed bar and restaurant which has the nearest Tabac for us smokers btw, great food, service and wine. Thoroughly enjoyed everyday and will be back for your next phase.

An awesome experience
AGRICOLA NECI is a luxury experience all the way. From the owner Patrick to the staff (Eva, Santiago and Gregorio) everyone was there to make sure our experience was memorable. The views of the surrounding valleys are incredible. The house itself is out of a movie. I highly recommend an extended vacation here.

Met all my expectations
This is an amazing property. We had two families come together to enjoy this delightful Tuscan estate. The property is well designed to soak up Tuscany’s nature and landscape. The staff are kind and generous. They were always willing to help with anything at any time. They helped keep the property clean and well-taken care of, working early in the morning and late at night. Numerous restaurants are within 10 m car ride. We visited Sienna and the local monastery for the evening vespers. Lovely experience. Our family gives this property an 10 out of 10!

Great place amid wonderful surroundings
We spent two weeks at Agricola Neci. Patrick met us when we arrived and was extremely gracious. He was like a concierge at a luxury hotel. Gregorio and Oliva are the onsite employees whom we had daily contact. They were fabulous. The daily housekeeping and the kitchen cleaning is definitely a big plus. We have plans to return again next year

Perfect setting and location to enjoy Tuscany
Agricola Neci was a beautiful location for our family trip to Tuscany. The suites allowed for privacy, without the confines of a hotel room. The common area, kitchen, and outdoor dining areas were perfect for family breakfasts and dinners. The kitchen was well equipped. The pool was divine—a big asset for the hot summer days when we wanted to relax amid the Tuscan scenery. The views were spectacular. We always wanted to be back on the property for the sunsets. The location of the property was perfect for our many day trips to Sienna, Montalcino, and Montepulciano. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour and tasting at Ciacci Piccolomini, which Patrick coordinated for us. The cleaning and property staff were friendly and made everything seamless. Last, but certainly not least, our host Patrick made sure we were welcomed to and familiar with the property on the day of our arrival, and he checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. We loved seeing Bruno and Max—such friendly dogs.

Outstanding vacation home in a beautiful location.
This is a beautiful property in an excellent location and with a very helpful and gracious host. The recent addition of a 30M swimming pool makes this a very unique and special property. The location offers privacy and freedom but with easy access (by car) to some of the most beautiful places in Tuscany,

Too good to be true
A breathtaking property surrounded by hundreds of acres olive trees overlooking Tuscan hills. My family (4 adults and 1 infant) had an exceptional stay at Agricola Neci. We were pleasantly surprised by the service (Olivia and Gregorio who cleaned and took care of the property during our stay), amenities (AC in every room!!) and beautiful new pool. Really seemed too good to be true. We would love to stay there again, tour the beautiful property by golf cart, swim in kayaks on a private lake and soak up the sun by the pool. The best!

Breathtaking Estate - Relaxing Getaway!
Patrick was amazing!! After leaving the Amalfi coast, jumping on the high-speed train to Florence, taking a 3-hour walking tour around Florence, then driving to the property, we were exhausted when we arrived. Patrick and his staff met us with a smile, great appetizers, and a wealth of information about the property and all the amenities offered. He drove us around the property on golf carts to show us the pool, lake, hiking trails, and the beautiful landscape of his picturesque estate. He also helped set up a BBQ night with the local Butcher, a fine dining night with a masterful Chef, and a delightful cooking class with a lovely couple that was so fun and delicious. Well located in Tuscany within reasonable driving distance to so many great destinations - Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza - and so on. Short drive to the local village for groceries, etc. Highly recommend! PS the property dogs Bruno and Max were also great company

Just clicking yes cannot do justice to how much we love staying at Neci.
Our second time here, and we love everything about this Patrick, the owner, is a fabulous host, caring, expansive and with a fabulous personality reflected in the quality and love that he placed into the smallest details of this magnificent property. The staff spoils you, the views are unparalleled to anything else I have seen in this part of Tuscany and Patricks recommendations are all first class. Impossible to describe in words what a wonderful vacation staying at Neci provides.

Wow!!!
Although I could have imagined this place was beautiful, I never imagined it was so beautiful. The rooms, the views, it was like being in a postcard. Plus I had two extraordinary experiences that I will never forget. Truffle hunting (Agricola Neci is rich in truffle grounds) and the olives harvest with relative oil tasting. I can't wait to be back!

Amazing Property and Outstanding Service
We were extremely impressed with the property - it exceeded our expectations at every turn. The location was great for hitting the best wine regions, and very drivable to Arezzo, Siena and Florence. Patrick was amazing - meeting us at the property and personally touring us through the vast acreage upon our arrival. He ensured that we were comfortable with the suites (all different layouts and WAY nicer than shown in the pictures), and the amenities of the property (bikes, golf carts, and canoes and kayaks on the property lake). We all greatly appreciated the personal attention he provides for his guests. We were also very impressed with Gregoria and Margarita and their support for us throughout the week. They exercised perfect discretion in their daily routines (cleaning, etc.), but were immediately available whenever we needed anything. And of course, Bruno - the four-legged best friend to our entire group. Our only regret was that we only had a week to enjoy this villa and land - we will definitely be coming back and strongly recommend this property.

Spectacular vacation!
We stayed at Neci for two weeks with family and friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had no idea the property would be so stunning. When we arrived we drove through the beautiful iron gates to the generous villa overlooking Tuscan hills. It was even better than we had imagined! We were welcomed by Patrick, the owner, and Bruno the friendly dog, who took us on a tour of the substantial property on golf carts. The villa is extremely comfortable and each suite is very large and separate. We have very high standards and the accommodations were well appointed and luxurious. There is a separate building with a common kitchen and dining room, which worked out nicely for group dinners and parties. Patrick was available via phone to help us with any questions we had and he arranged for some chefs to come to the villa to cook for us. The property is truly a destination in itself and we spent many days at the villa swimming in the lake, kayaking, walking, and riding bikes and golf carts. The location is really ideal if you want to tour the many towns in Tuscany, go wine tasting, etc, but have privacy and the peacefulness of the Tuscan countryside. The whole experience was like a dream and we would love to stay again next time we are in Tuscany!

Outstanding , Fantastic - Put on your bucket list!!!!
The location is stunning, the property and surrounding estate is superb, the welcome from Patrick along with his hospitality all made for an unforgettable holiday in a truly stunning environment. Having arrived later than planned, Patrick took care of changing the restaurant reservation, which he had made initially for us, made us very welcome and arranged a time the next day for a tour of the grounds, a trip to the nearest local supermarket and artisan shops. This was invaluable information and ensured we had everything covered for the stay. We hired in local chefs for one evening (speak to Patrick he will arrange), and it is really well worth doing - not only are they the most lovely old couple (and spoke barely no English) the food was outstanding and served with a true sense of joy. Our whole family - spanning 3 generations had a wonderful evening with great wine and food...... just perfect. Not forgetting Bruno, the most laid back friendly hound you could wish to meet, which as a family of dog lovers put the icing on the cake. Whenever we return to Tuscany, there will be only one place I would consider staying ..... Agricola Neci - Salut Patrick. The Anderson Clan

We came again, this time in summer. It is a place that combines wonderful landscape, designed and modern rooms, excellent service and unbelievable hospitality. I would recommend it, but I am afraid that it will always be booked and I cannot visit it again. So better go to the next proposal... it is just half as good as this one.

Wonderful property in the Tuscan hills
We recently spent a week at this wonderful property in Tuscany. First, we need to mention how wonderful a host Patrick Zinelli is. He came all the way from Rome to meet us at the property, but that was not all. He gave us a thorough tour of the property and grounds, invited us for a wonderful appetizer/dinner with local (and delicious) products, and the next day took us personally to his favorite places in Buonconvento (the nearest town), introducing us to the wonderful butchers, fruit vendors, and bakers in town. The house is beautifully appointed, very clean and, for our first day, had even a great spread for breakfast laid out for us in the common room. Each suite has separate entrances, and the views from the rooms were truly unforgettable. The grounds are extensive; we spent a day exploring it, canoeing in the lake and driving the golf carts up and down the beautiful hills, with Bruno (the property's dog, a sweet and active animal that will greet you every morning and will go everywhere you go, trotting along happily!). Gregorio and his wife, the groundskeepers, are simply amazing. Every day the would clean after us, lay the breakfast table, bring us fresh eggs from their hens, fix the beds - you name it! We called them the magical elves because all of this happened with us hardly ever seeing them. But, when we did see them, it was a pleasure; they are the nicest people ever, and it also was a pleasure to meet their beautiful daughter Anna. Gregorio even helped set up the BBQ one evening we were planning on cooking bistecca (the amazing meat from the region), brought us fresh zucchini and green beans from his garden, and the next morning it was all magically cleaned and ready to use again if we wanted! The house is conveniently located, with many area attractions between 30 minutes and one hour away. You will need a car to stay here, but it will be very hard to extricate yourself from this place. I would have enjoyed staying more in the house, walking the grounds with Bruno and simply enjoying how time seems to slow down there... We truly recommend this place and will be back very soon. Thanks again Patrick for everything; we will see you again!

Fantastic property -- the perfect place from which to visit Tuscany!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Agricola Neci. Reading the positive reviews and seeing the photos we had very high expectations, but our experience was even better than we hoped it would be. The location: great for seeing Tuscany. We took easy day trips to Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano. None of them more than 2 hours away. Even closer are Chiusure, the Abbazia of Monte Olivieto and Buonconvento -- where you can get groceries and delicious treats. The property: Wow. Just wow. The setting is glorious. You really feel like you have your own private slice of Tuscany. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing to behold. The villa is beautiful and has every modern convenience. It consists of a large house made with re-claimed Tuscan bricks, with separate "apartments", each with a kitchen and fireplace. But a short distance (30 feet?) from the villa is another common house, with a gourmet kitchen, and dining table, along with a barbecue grill, and patio with a table and umbrella and chaise lounges, and is perfect for gathering everyone together for meals or drinks. Fabulous. There is a private pond that is swimmable, and two electric Club Cars (think golf carts that seat 4) for touring the hundreds of acres. Bikes are also provided. Best of all -- Bruno, a large and friendly dog who lives with Gregorio (one of the caretakers) visited us daily. He is wonderful and we all missed him when we left. The Host: Patrick and his staff are really great. They made feel right at home and provided touches of hospitality, such as bringing us farm-fresh eggs, that were delicious. Patrick even helped us to find a pair of local former restaurant owners who came on site and cooked for us dinner on our last night. Delicious and truly memorable! Our only regret? That we couldn't stay for another week at Agricola Neci!

Absolutely everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in heaven.
Patrick is the most gracious and kind host I have ever met. His tour of the property was awe inspiring. The views of the olive orchards, forests, fields and rolling hills are oh-my-god beautiful. The attentive service of Maria, Gregorio and Raffa are unaparalleled. And then there was Bruno, the sweetest dog ever! Maria cleaned up after our meals and always had the breakfast table ready for us each day. Our rooms were incredibly clean. The showers are divine. The sitting rooms and kitchettes are sweet. Beautiful vistas and outdoor patios. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We had chefs come in for two meals and they were fantastic. We highly recommend that you book them so that you can have dinner out on that beautiful patio. As hot as it was each day the evenings were a perfect temperature with a nice breeze. Make sure you swim in the lake. We used the life jackets as a floaty devices and it was heavenly. It was as if we were the only people in the world. The San Valentin restaurant is so close and a must. The abbey is beautiful and the restaurant there is fantastic. Easy day trips to Montelcino, Montepulciano, Siena and Cortona. We toured two fantastic Brunello wineries. Patrick is a phenomenal resource about where to go and what to enjoy. Btw: he's also a sommelier! We spent a lot of time in Buenconvento and found it to be a hidden gem. It's so beautiful! The Main Street has wonderful el fresco dining, great little shops, and a fantastic bakery. We loved the wine bar, La Porta di Sotto. Job, the sommolier, is friendly and speaks English and was very patient with our weak Italian. The little grocery store (that Patrick recommended) has everything you need. And there's also a Co-op. It was hard to leave. As a group of nine women who had come together to celebrate one another and a milestone birthday, we chose Tuscany for its beauty, food, wine and culture. We travelled from Canada, U.S.A, Peru and Switzerland to have this week together. We can't imagine a more picturesque and relaxing place. Forever in our hearts.

Best kept secret!
The property is in great condition. Patrick is a great host and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is wonderful, with great views. The private lake is swimable and the location idyllic. Close to Montalcino, Siena, San Gimigiano for day trips. Leave a day or two to enjoy the property. In the late afternoon we saw Boars and deer. My kids loved it. The rooms are set up as individual rooms. They are not connected as a proper house. This is not a problem but good to be aware. Hope to come back soon, We want to return to this great secret corner!

This place was magical!!
I don't know where to start. I assumed this place was too good to be true but it turns out it was even better than I expected. First off it's absolutely gorgeous and kept up so well that you feel like you're at a hotel. The scenery is like out of a movie. It's perfect for kids because it's on acres and acres and acres of land for them to just run free (with Bruno, the care takers dog who is the sweetest dog alive) and there is a beautiful private lake that we went swimming in every day. Patrick the villa owner could not have been more attentive and generous. He had food prepared for us for when we arrived and he even took us into town to introduce us to the local butcher, baker, etc and showed us around. This was the highlight of our family vacation to Italy and my 8 year old son is still saying he wants to go back to Tuscany.

Absolutely superb experience.
We are a family of five (three young children) and we had a marvelous time. There is so much to do here, both on the property and in the surrounding vicinity. We especially enjoyed the pond , exploring the grounds, and making meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The property is in fact even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Patrick was a marvelous and generous host who was readily available to answer questions or address any concerns. His crew was equally wonderful. We recommend highly and without reservation. -Adrian

Tuscany
First of all I will like to say that Patrick is an excellent host. The house was amazing everything was clean and in properly working conditions. This home is the best idea to rent for a large family or a group of friends, each Suite has its own private entrance, bathroom are big. The views are unbelievable. The personnel is courteous and ready to help when is needed. Also the house comes with nice bicycles, and ATV the property is huge you can go ATV in the afternoon and also you can visit the lake for a swim or a kayak excursion. You can not ask for a better place to be than Agricola Necci. Location is wonderful next to Bonconvento a small village with nice restaurants mini market coffee places. Best experience on earth. Visit Tuscany it is gorgeous. Be prepare to drive if you want to visit surrounding towns Siena is 1 and 1/2 hours from home,, Antinori 1 hour away, Montepulchiano is like 45 min drive and San Giminiano 1 hour 45 min. Also you must go to Bani Termale San Filippo. Amazig experience. I will suggest for best time to travel May, June, September or October. You can't go wrong choosing Agricola Necci is to beautiful and enjoyable.
