"Wir hatten einen wirklichen tollen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft und können diese nur jedem ans Herz legen. Alles ist wie beschrieben und einfach nur toll. "

"Blankenburg liegt optimal, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Ostharz abzuklappern und zu erwandern. Die Wohnung ist super gelegen und die Nähe zum Edeka nebenan und einigen Restaurants in der Nähe runden das positve Bild ab. Der Parkplatz musste ab und zu gewechselt werden, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Die Wohnung könnte noch 1-2 Schränke vertragen sowie einen Staubsauger, um auch Tierhaare von vorherigen Gästen gründlich zu entfernen. Im Ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden. "

"Durch die Beschreibung hat man geglaubt in einem der angebotenen Bungalows zu wohnen, mit 2 Doppelzimmer, einer gemeinsam nutzbaren Küche und einer Terrasse.. Nichts davon war der Fall. Neben den angegebenen Bungalows befand sich ein sogenannter Partytreff, in diesem Feste gefeiert werden können. Hinter dieser Räumlichkeit, als mit im Gebäude, befand sich unser Doppelzimmer Dieses erreichten wir nachdem wir durch ein großes Metalltor über den nicht anschaulichen Hinterhof und durch mehrere Flure...

"This is one of the best holiday apartments that we have stayed in. It is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well-equipped. The south-facing roof terrace, with its views towards the Bodetal, is a splendid area in which to sit for meals, an early-evening drink, or merely to relax and muse. Every possible need has been considered and met, and there is a very good set of information about the area, including maps. Herr and Frau John are excellent hosts: helpful and informative, but not...

"Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, gut eingerichtet und nett gestaltet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ort Gernrode ist strategisch gut gelegen zwischen Harz und Quedlinburg aber auch sehr ruhig. Für ein Wochenende raus also genau richtig. Direkt im Ort mit der Dampflok loslegen ist toll!"

"Die Wohnung hatte alles, was wir für unser langes Wochenende benötigt haben (Lage, Ausstattung, Größe). Der Check-in war unkompliziert, ebenso die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter."

"Eine glatte Enttäuschung. Sauberkeit: „nein“ , nach einem Anruf ist die Putzfrau gleich erschienen. Es wurde nachgereinigt, aber das geht auch besser. Spinnen an der Decke in Jeden Raum. Zahnpasta Reste im Waschbecken. Dreck in jeder Ecke. Das Bett absolut Dreckig. Aber wurde neu bezogen. Für den Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten definitiv zu viel bezahlt. Diese „Ferienwohnung“ ist nicht zum Urlaub geeignet, nur für Monteure."

The property details did mention a heated pool but this was not mentioned on arrival or in any details shared with us. Maybe it was lost in translation somewhere. Even so, we thought this was a great place to relax on holiday."

"Arrived at 10.30pm after a day of visiting clients and a long drive from Dusseldorf where we got held up in a lot of traffic to find out the hotel was closed no one was there and now stuck with nowhere to go. I hadnt noticed that in the small print it states check in closes at 10pm a detail I think should be highlighted not hidden in small details. Extremely disappointed no one tried to ring or message from the hotel to see if we were arriving. I accept we were late but would have been better for someone to contact us as we were only just after the cut off. They could have left the keys out for us but no they just locked up and left us stranded"

"The hotel lighting is very limited, really uncomfortable to stay. Breakfast is not delicious for room rate that I paid. The pillow look like not really pillow for sleep. I don’t want to come back to this hotel. "

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again. "
