"We had a fantastic week staying in Giles and Christiane’s chalet just below Les Arcs. The chalet is very well equipped for 8 people with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a very nice communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer, plus heated boot rack was an absolute bonus enabling us to have warm and dry boots each day. Communication with Giles and Christiane was very easy and clear and it was nice to meet them on arrival."

"Family holiday with teenagers. Lovely chalet and in a peaceful and relaxed area without the busyness / fuss of larger resorts. Contamines is a fantastic alpine village, great local shops amenities provide all you need and was a perfect location for hiking, cycling etc. from the door."

"We had a wonderful week's ski holiday staying in Chantel and Caroline's chalet. The chalet is very spacious with great facilities, especially the hot tub. The location is fantastic, quiet and away from other properties with amazing views. A little bit of a walk to the piste, which was further for us due to the spring conditions but only a few minutes drive down to the village where there was plenty of free parking."

"l’ours Brun is a great chalet in a great location literally a stones throw from 2 lifts. The kitchen was new and really well equipped. Great dining table that can comfortably seat 16. Living area is spacious and comfortable. There is a large wraparound balcony that is a great sun trap in the afternoon. 4 main bedrooms are small but comfortable - 2 en suite and a separate shower room for the other 2. Le logement est prevu pour 8 alors que nous etions tres a l'etroit a 7, surtout pour la partie couchage au RDC dont un lit en hauteur sans echelle d'accès. "Great chalet on the outskirts of Val D'Isere with lots of space and a great layout for 2 families. its about a 10/15 minute walk into the main resort but there was bus stop right outside and a ski lift too so ski in/ski out. Beautifully warm too. The only thing we would have liked was a smart TV so the kids could have watched TV after long days on the slopes. We hope to return. thanks for a great stay"

"The property was actually much better than described and the photos do not doit justice! Communication was a bit slow via the VRBO app but we received all the info we needed. Linen and towels are not included. We were 3 families with 6 teenage kids and the house had plenty of space for us. The kitchen was well equipped. The village is small, about 10 mins walk to supermarket, boulangerie, bar, restaurant and nearest ski lift up to Vallandry (Lonzagne lift). We would definitely go back!!"

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce beau duplex très confortable, propre et très bien équipé. Les contacts avant et pendant le séjour se sont très bien passés. La literie est vraiment très confortable. Le local à skis avec sèche chaussures est hyper pratique. Quelques inconvénients tout de même : les chambres aux lits superposés sont petites pour des adultes, le sentier d’accès était boueux et peu pratique et il vaut mieux avoir une voiture pour aller à la station."

"Great stay. Room well equipped with everything we needed. Ski in ski out worked well. We couldn’t get the wifi code to work all week so gave up. We did ask at reception for them to look at it which they did but it still didn’t work. Pool and hot tub great feature though could have been warmer! And perhaps slightly larger as a bit crowded especially at the end of the day. Building could have done with a lick of paint in places but general standard was still very high and was very impressed....

"The whole place needs massive renovations and did not jusify paying over 3100 euros for a 1 bedroom apartment. Considering the week after (we went on UK half term) the price drops to a third of a price, I would consider it a total rip off and taking customers for a ride. The owners admitted they are going through a 4 Million euro renovation project next summer which goes to show the state Alpina property. Don't go there until it is renovated in 2026. "
