"Well off the beaten track but superb because of it. The area is a quiet location with family homes. The most noise comes from the Whistling Frogs. Anderson is a great guy, very hospitable and dedicated to sharing the best that Barbados has to offer. I was quite independent but we still had time for a good old fashioned chinwag one evening. Unsure of anything, just ask Anderson, he can show you the island. I would thoroughly recommend the Almond Palm Apartments and host Anderson "

"Our stay started off a little stressful. Our flight was delayed so we didn't get in until 11pm. We used Ways (which is always pretty accurate) to navigate the island but the address given on listing was different. I had to dig deep in the app to find the correct address. The surrounding area is not well lit so it took us a while and lots of circles to find the place. The open concept was perfect for our group. The master upstairs has it's own ensuite and the other two rooms share a bath. Since...

"We stayed at Wayne’s place for 16 nights and loved our stay. The property is very spacious and comfortable had everything we needed. The location was good and was 10-15 mins walk to everything you would need. Wayne was a great host good with communication and available to help if needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"This was a wonderful experience. The villa was unique and the grounds were beautiful. Everything about the villa was outstanding: the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, the kitchen was complete--even a blender for do it yourself Pina Colada's. "Sarah described it best as a “diamond in the rough”. What an amazing little corner of residential cottages/houses. A beautiful quiet beach on the West side of Barbados. All the amenities we needed. All appliances worked well. Sarah was in touch to update us. It was nice to have two full bathrooms. I appreciate the little touches. I will miss my morning view with my coffee and mostly the evening sunsets and watching the hummingbirds. Thank-you Sarah for the great stay!"

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a lovely retreat. Our too had a private rooftop pool with on outside grill for entertaining. It was a welcome getaway for quiet solitude to spend our first days together as husband and wife. Would definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for that extra special private experience. "We stayed at this property for a week. We were so impressed with the room, location and service The owners and the manager were always available , they were perfect hosts The area is amazing, the beach in front is perfect and calm, we swam everyday. Lots of food options, shopping and short walk to the St Lawrence gap We felt very safe even at night when out and about. We met some good friends and certainly plan to return in the near future "
