"We got a last minute call where Wyndham tried to send us to a totally different hotel in Rio Grande nowhere near this one however we insisted on staying at this location and were still able to. That was annoying I won’t lie but the stay itself more than made up for our initial frustration. The staff, location, rooms, pools, property in general, all were beyond incredible! We will definitely be back! "

"Beautiful property with great views. There were so many things available that I felt I over packed. Had user error checking in, but super easy afterwards. Have stayed at other units in Villas Del Faro and this has been the most responsive host.Only minor issues. The laundry in the photos was unavailable which would have been appreciated to know during the welcome text to avoid having to bug the host.The second issue which unsure if the host or if they hire a third party to clean, there were instances of poor quality with the items provided.The Lays chip were expired for 6 months and we decided to toss them. One of the razors (brought my own but you could clearly notice it) was very much used, most likely to remove lint. These made me a bit weary of using pantry/fridge items provided.However, these weren't deal breakers for me as I was not planning on using these.Overall, loved my stay and would recommende. "

"Firstly, the pictures dont do enoughjustice to the actual beauty of this big estate. It is absolutely magnificent, surrounded by the hills and lush green. Ricardo and family's warmth made us feel as if we had come to vacation to our own family. Even after staying in a five star hotel after this stay, the kids felt Serena’s experience was better. Amazing rooms, amazing views and the best part is the pool. The kitchen is always open to you and Ricardo somehow just appears and is always there to dish out a cocktail or a snack or a dish. They even ordered meal from outside and brought it in for us bc we could not communicate with local restaurants in spanish. The instructions they send are very accurate. You do need a 4x4 else you will get stuck getting in or out because of a very steep climb into the property but incase you do, don’t worry as Ricardo will be there day or night to help you out. If you want yo truly relax, go here without any hesitation . We are definitely coming back. Thank you to Ricardo and family for giving us an awesome experience "
