"We returned here for 2 nights having stayed 2 weeks ago. Staff remembered us and gave us an upgrade! Very easy walk to the beach. Hotel is very quiet and has parking. Breakfast is included and has a nice variety of food. Highly recommend this property!"

"We arrived a little early before the hotel was open. We called a contact number and staff cheerfully arrived to admit us. Our room was on the the second floor at the corner with the best view of the nearby beach. The room was small but clean and the view more than compensated. The hotel is steps from the beach, restaurants, and the funicular to take you to the North Shore. We would stay there again and recommend."

"staff were incredible!! room was really clean and comfortable. did not like that the shower was at one end of the room and the toilet and sink at the other end. We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was super good."

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"Absolutely charming place. The gardens are lovely. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and large. Every part of the house looks like a quaint picture! Amazing place. It is also close to some of “Portugal Farm Experiences and Tours”. "

"We had such a wonderful visit at Oceane B&B- the accommodations were beautiful and well thought out. Our hosts were delightful and very helpful we enjoyed chatting with them. We hope to return and see the “big” waves! We highly recommended staying at Oceane B&B!!"

"The old farmhouse is amazing with lots of antiques and the property is so pretty. All the amazing details make this the perfect, relaxing spot to spend a few days. The rooms are quaint with all the special extras, and the reception from Anabelle and Jean=Pierre was wonderful! We had a great breakfast with pastry and charcouterie, etc. Couldn't ask for more!"

"The couple who run the facility are engaging and very welcoming. We were greeted with a drink of choice and conversation to get to know our hosts as well as them getting to know us. The room was just as promised with a balcony overlooking the pool. We were given great advice on visiting some of the nearby sights. The location was perfect!! I celebrated my birthday while there and the host both greeted me that morning wishing me a Happy Birthday. Fabulous stay!!!"

"A perfect pool amid a lush green retreat! This peaceful locale is an easy drive to Alcobaça, Obidos and Nazare. The hosts are delightful, as are their homemade muffins and eggs each morning. The new organic mattresses were the most comfortable we have enjoyed during our entire trip."

"Room was very big. Had a kitchen and living room and bedroom. Breakfast was decent. Had scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, ham in addition to the continental fare. Had free parking. Very close to bus station. Walkable distance to car rental area. "

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"We loved the house. It is a lovely property with all the equipment needed for a family with kids. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the surroundings. The owner was checking with us if we are fine and needed anything during our stay in the vila. I would highly recomend the property."

"Fishy smell as lobby checkin is adjacent to their restaurant which is a seafood restaurant. No big deal and the property is quite suitable for the price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Our room is in back and looks over a lot under construction but can also see the cliff with funicular with beach and fort "
