"Nice location with boat rental on site but you pay more for this convenience. Cottages were nothing special but adequate for our needs - very basic amenities, bath towels were laughable as they were the size of hand towels which may be good for Chinese visitors but not larger tourists. Easy walk from end of road. Staff made check in and out very easy. No privacy at all as the cottages are very close together including campers behind the cottages. Overall ok but if we came back may look around for other options."

"We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. We were recommended this place from a friend and it was perfect. We cycled every day and found some beautiful spots. We used the facilities for swimming and a drink at the bar. It was extremely quiet which was lovely"

"The hotel was easily accessible from the train station, it's about 15 minutes walk from the center of Meppel but we were able to rent e-bike from them and that was super convenient. The staff was super helpful, a lot of college aged students, all were English speakers, and they have a good bar and restaurant. The only complaint was the extras from the bar were quite pricey, but overall very good stay"

"The outside of the hotel is not inviting, being part of a stadium complex. However, inside is a modern, stylish and comfortable place to spend one or two nights. The staff are very professional. The restaurant is good, as is the breakfast selection. The rooms are a good size. Plenty of parking for a small charge. There is a walking route to the centre of Zwolle but it takes 30 minutes."
