Big Trees Base Camp Sleeps 17

3 story home, great views, sits on over an acre, end of the cul de sac, private, large wrap around deck, lots of parking, all new stainless steel kitchen appliances, washer and dryer.

Ductless AC on all 3 levels installed in 2020, heaters in every room including bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, loft, fully finished basement game room with lots of games to choose from.

Big screen tv's on multiple floors, Comcast cable, blue ray dvd player, Netflicks, wi-fi, great cell phone reception. Close by is Sequoia Woods Golf Course, 5 minutes to Big Trees, 30 minutes to Bear Valley Ski Resort, close to Murphy's, Angles Camp, Columbia, Natural Bridges, Moaning Caverns, Sonora, Lake Alpine, New Melones Lake, all close by.

Arnold Rim Trail 5 minutes away. Multiple restaurants close by and grocery store. Fishing and boating, frisbee golf and kayaking at White Pines Lake 5 minutes away.

Guests must show the BLSHA Guest Card along with photo ID at the Recreation Office window. Possessing the Guest Card and photo ID entitles the holder to purchase a card for daily or weekly
Guest fees apply when using pool/ amenities to all of those over the age of two years.

Individual Daily $15 Weekly $90 group up to 6 people daily $75 weekly$ 300
Available during late spring & summer only!

We have a no pet policy due to the fact that many people have pet allergies & we want to provide an enjoyable stay for all customers. If pets are brought there will be an additional $500 charge per pet additional cleaning fee & you will not be allowed to rent from us again.

this is the second time my group and I have stayed at this location and it is easily one of the best locations to host a trip, the owners are very quick to reply, There’s a lot to do in the area and the house is very nice and clean, really can't ask for anything better!

It was an amazing cabin with all the a lot to do for every age, my grandson and I played ping pong everyday it was a blast. So close to so many fun things to do. Thank you for having such a great place for my family to stay. I would highly recommend.

A nice property with plenty of space for our two families up in the mountains for a week of skiing. A warm fire made the cabin nice and toasty during the recent snowstorm.

90th Birthday Celebration
We were very pleased with the location and overall experience. There was plenty of room for all 16 of us, We loved the ease of walking to the lake and relaxing, swimming, paddle boarding. The amenities were nice for all ages. The kids were entertained as well as the adults.

Love this place it is our 5th time renting here. So clean, so much room, every convenience. Kitchen is so well stocked for cooking. Beds so comfy. Perfect snowy getaway!
The house was a great place for our two families to stay (4 adults, 4 kids ages 3-9) and it would easily accommodate an even bigger group! We loved cozying up around the fireplace, having tons of space for kids to play and adults to chat, we loved being able to all fit around the dining room table, the kitchen had everything we needed, and outside had lots of great space for snow play right out the front door! We also enjoyed being less than 10 min from Big Trees state park. The host was easy to communicate with and check in/out were clear and simple. Definitely recommend for groups and hope to stay there again!

Great base for snow camping
We used the cabin as a home base for a scout troop who was learning how to camp in the snow at Lake Alpine. The cabin was very spacious and accommodated our crew of 16. Gravel driveway was a bit technical for a two wheel drive minivan due. No problems for the SUVs. Very accommodating host.

Lovely house and great owners!
We had a wonderful time at Big Trees Base Camp with our group for ski week. It was a great space, it had so much room, comfy beds and was super clean when we arrived. The kitchen was awesome, appliances were new and it was well stocked. Bathrooms were great as well and had plenty of towels. Both Kristina & Guy were super responsive, accommodating & kind, a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

Beautiful area
First, let me start by saying thank you for allowing us to rent your house/cabin. My family had an amazing vacation. Beautiful area very quiet. Lots of room inside and out. I don’t know how you can’t give this place a 5 star and not want to come back. Felt like our time went by so fast. Very clean relaxing. Highly recommend and will be returning. Check in / out was easy.

Amazing get away
Really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cabin. Definitely will be coming back again, hopefully soon. Kitchen was fully equipped, loved that! We woke up to the cabin surrounded by snow. Seeing the snowfall from your window is priceless. My only complain would be having to wash and dry all towels used. Im not necessarily complaining, its just who wants to do laundry while being on vacation. Overall, its totally worth it and would do it again. The host Kristins was very communicative and answered all my questions.

Arnold Retreat
We had a great time and the property met all our needs. The only drawback was the parking. The driveway was at such a steep incline that some of our cars couldn’t make it. You need a 4-wheel drive. Washing the towels was a new one! The new carpet was lovely and the sleeping arrangements versatile enough to accommodate our several families.

Absolutely loved it!
Frist off, the property was clean, Ive been to many vacation rental homes but i would have to say this was the cleanest. Second the layout, I loved how the first floor was setup as a game room, my kids spent much of their time in there or outside. We went to the private lake which was in walking distance. They had a little beach which the kids really enjoyed before the weather changed and it just got cold. The only downside to the house is the heating. At night the first floor was really cold we did have to move the kids upstairs because of that, but they had plenty of space upstairs to accommodate them. All in all, I would definitely be back.
