"The staff were very friendly and kind. The breakfast served was one of the best we’ve had at any hotel with lots of variety and such fresh fruit. We enjoyed walking through the vineyard and found it an excellent spot to explore Douro. Highly recommend."

"Reception was excellent. Patricia was very helpful as was the lady on night reception. Nice touch with a complimentary bottle of port in the room. Loved the big bath tub. No USB ports in the room and no fridge but they stored stuff for us."
