The Cabin:
The unique asymmetrical A-frame structure is both unexpected and familiar, with its wood-clad walls, exposed beams, and large geometric windows. Originally built as a fishing cabin in the 1970s, it has been remodeled and expanded into the charming retreat you see today.
The cabin's interior features two cozy bedrooms (one in the loft and one on the main floor), a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, and a welcoming fireplace. Most of the furniture was custom-designed and built by our team specifically for this space, adding to the unique designed experience.
Step out onto the back deck to enjoy expansive river views among towering ancient Hemlocks, dine at the large table outdoor table, or relax in the hot tub. Our cabin is designed to be a screen-free environment, allowing you to unplug and reconnect with nature and loved ones.
For your entertainment, we’ve provided a record player with a hand-curated selection of vinyl, along with a variety of board games. The kitchen is fully stocked, encouraging you to prepare meals at the cabin as part of the full experience.
The Area:
Our cabin is just an hour's drive from Seattle and minutes from Granite Falls, WA. Known as the gateway to the Cascades, this area offers incredible hiking and stunning natural beauty. Popular nearby trails include Gothic Basin, Big Four Ice Caves, Mt. Pilchuck Fire Lookout, Lake Twenty-Two, and Heather Lake. Our cabins are part of a small, private community. While we encourage you to explore the nearby park and Cascade Loop Highway trails, please respect our neighbors' privacy by avoiding the private community roads.
Frequently Asked Questions:

How many guests are included in the base price? The base price is for 2 guests, any additional guests are $50/night

Do you have a grill on the deck? Yes, there's a propane grill overlooking the river, and we supply the propane.

What's a good restaurant or bar nearby? We recommend spending as much time at the cabin and in nature as possible, so plan to bring food and drinks. Local favorites include Omega Pizza (takeout or dine-in), Eat Thai, and the Spar Tree (local bar).
