This beautiful compact three-floor house was in the center of an ancient Roman city, in the authentic heart of Provence. The house was clean, quiet, well equipped, comfortable, and close to restaurants, farmers markets, cinemas, and museums. We were two minutes away from the Roman arena, Roman amphitheater, and the beautiful Rhône river. Frequent train schedule allowed us to make day trips to Avignon, Nimes, Montpellier, Marseille, Le Thor, and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The charming streets were very narrow and driving would have been challenging. We had bicycles which were perfect for exploring the city, countryside and taking on the train.
Madame Etter was extremely flexible, welcoming, helpful, and communicative. We had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable séjour in Provence. The neighbors, shop owners and cafe staff were always very welcoming. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to experience genuine small city Provencal life.
