Finley Creek House is nestled in the woods, and you may be able to see all different kinds of wildlife including squirrels, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, deer, and even bears. Please remember that these animals are wild, and do not approach or feed these wild animals.
Please also bear in mind that while we do our very best to keep bugs and spiders out of the house, they do sometimes sneak inside. If you find a spider, we’ll be happy to come relocate it outdoors for you! Otherwise, the best way to keep spiders, stink bugs, and bees outside is to keep all of the doors closed as much as possible. Thank you for helping us keep the bugs out, and the air-conditioned air in!
The whole house, hot tub, & yard are entirely yours for the duration of your stay. The pond is shared between us and our neighbors, but it's rare to find anyone else back there besides the birds & fish.
This house used to be a bed & breakfast and has two levels. The upstairs level is rented out separately in the winter while my family and I live downstairs (we stay downstairs from November-April). During the summer, I rent out the entire house, hence the separate listing for half of the house. The top half of the house is not available to rent separately during the summer.
