"The cottage is wonderful in how eclectic it is. There are definitely several additions on the house, giving it lots of nooks to explore. It is a peaceful place to rejuvenate in, close to Yarmouth and other locations to vist. It was fun watching both the tide and the fog come and go. Had everything we needed for a four day stay. "

"Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. "Had a nice stay here at Cape Forchu. The kitchen is well equipped, with pots and pans and utensils not mentioned in the listing. Nice deck in the front and covered veranda on the side and front. The rooms are nice. Could use a little TLC in a few spots. "

Beautifully decorated throughout and the beds were so comfy. The area was pretty and close to all the things we wanted to see. But the area people were wonderful. "

"We enjoyed our stay in the cottage although this was mainly due to the friendship of the four women. The views are breathtaking in the midst of nature’s beauty. There should be better signage on the road leading to the cottage. We arrived late afternoon, GPS on but service is not the best. We drove way past the small number sign. Four women alone on a wilderness road, no phone signal, no GPS and no SOS…..scary to say the least. Upon entry to the cottage, we were hit with cold dampness. Heat...
