"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "El entorno es maravilloso, la casa es tal y como se ve en el anuncio.Solo un par de cosas malas que nos pasaron pero fue por la cantidad de lluvia que cayó.Unas pequeñas goteras en una habitación que no nos hacía falta utilizaré y el terreno donde aparcar el coche embarrado y se quedó el coche sin poder moverlo durante un para de días.La culpa fue del temporal y ellos nos recompensaron con una buena botella de vino.Solo un consejo, asfaltar la zona de aparcamiento para que eso no vuelva a pasar."

"Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"
