"A renovated old farmhouse, Aux Mesanges was a cool place to stay. We felt the age while climbing the creaky stairs and seeing the wood beams, yet we also enjoyed the modern renovations. Laurent was super nice, chatting with us about the home and even allowing us to practice our not-so-great French. "We stayed here for one night on our way to Paris from Basel. The grounds are beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful and serene, the chateau is well maintained and very clean. It’s an old building, which comes with some idiosyncrasies but it’s very comfortable overall. Breakfast was excellent. Beaune is close by. "

"Jeremy was very welcoming and conversed easily in English. He told us about the area, it's wine growing history and his own involvement. Arranged lunch for us at a local hotel and breakfast was truly a feast. My granddaughters loved the swimming pool. We will definitely use this hotel again on our way back through France. A truly wonderful experience."

"We were booked for Aug.29. On aug. 27 I received a message from Chateau de Seurre that there was an error in the payment method and to contact them to avoid cancellation. I called but got their answering machine. I messaged them that I would pay cash if credit card was a problem for them. I got no response. I went to the Chateau on the 28th, the day before my reservation to make sure there was no problem. The gate was locked and had a message saying that they were fully booked. I called again...

"Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans cette magnifique propriété parfaite pour un week end entre amis. De l’espace, des chambres independantes et bien agencées avec douches et toilettes, une piscine interieure tres agréable, un magnifique jardin et beaucoup de loisirs possibles sur place (velos, ping-pong, baby-foot, petanque, barbecue…). "This is a wonderful estate in a rural area about 15 minutes from town. The owners live in a house on the property and are very helpful. The best kitchen we had in France. We wanted to use the Pool but in never stopped raining. It was beautiful though. One word of caution is the steps to some of the bedrooms are narrow and a little steep so I would use smaller bags than one large one. All included items were accurate and Kid friendly, although we were all over 60. I would bring soap and shampoo....
