"It shares the same plaza as the Alehandro which is on Balcarce St. so shopping, dining and entertainment are just blocks away. The main square is also very close in the opposite direction. The rooms are sound-proofed so you wont hear your neighbors but that doesnt mean you wont hear outside traffic when morning rush hour begins. Over all a very nice place with a super helpful staff. Oh and Jing Du chinese is around the block. Who woulda thought pretty good chinese food in Salta...? I will be...

"The service from everyone at the hotel was impeccable - friendly and professional. Good location right on the main square. Hotel has maintained a good part of its colonial heritage. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The only negative is that the room was carpeted. Wooden floors would be a big improvement."

"This place is my favorite place to stay when in Santiago. The staff here is excellent. I dont speak Spanish very well (some say not at all), but they were able to make me feel welcomed and went out of their way to make sure i was well taken care of. This property is walkable to shopping, restaurants and the town square which is always busy. I will definitely stay here when i return in a few months. I was impressed from the time i checked in, to my check out. "

"The hotel is fantastic: I traveled with my two sons, both minors. The location has an excellent location downtown, half a block from the ‘Legislature’, a park “plaza Guemes”, and three blocks from the Cathedral. Extremely safe area, with public transportation and a gas station across the street opened 24/7. The main museums are within a brief walking distance (Conoce Salta, Museo Guemes, Museo Arqueológico), all worth seeing. Lots of place to eat in the area. Street with “Peñas”, folklore...
