"The Villa is great and is set in the most wonderful garden with a lovely large pool. Check in was smooth and Enzo very helpful. Midweek delivery of croissants was very appreciated especially as the nearest shop is a good 20 min walk and taxis are expensive. The sunset water taxi from the local restaurant to Ortigia was amazing (approx 15€ each) There is a bus stop outside the villa but finding out where it goes wasn’t easy. "We had - 14 of us, 11 adults three children - a really good week at Borgo Alto. The location is stunning and the space is great. As a former hotel, the accommodation is a bit odd for a big family group - with separate rooms in different buildings, but it worked well. The only thing it lacks is a comfortable lounge area.
