"The owners were very nice. The only one thing I didn’t love was that the bathroom wasn’t very clean. I’m guessing it’s because it was a shared bathroom between two rooms. (I didn’t notice that when I booked it). The room was small but nice. Everything looked new. A nice and cheap place. I would definitely stay again."

"Good: Very cute room, comfy bed, great wifi. Bad: The room was NOT clean, especially the toilette was gross (only surface cleaning done at most). Breakfast was terrible and the lady that works there, so unhelpful!"

"If you are coming to Asuncion, strongly consider staying at the Arthaus Boutique. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots. "A nice place. The rooms are good size, but could use a little work in spots. Not much hot water pressure. They have their own secure parking garage across the street. Early flight so couldn't try the breakfast."

"Ibis is part of the Accor group of hotels and so they maintain a standard. This hotel is a Red Ibis which means it is upgraded compared to green and blue. However, amenities are still very basic. They provide you with two towels and one floor towel. There are three pillows but there is no extra blanket and so you have to use the duvet/comforter as the blanket. The bed is firm but comfortable. Linens and towels are white and clean. They have a bidet in the restroom. They provide two very small facial soap. The shampoo is in a refillable container attached to the wall. They have a safebox for your important belongings. It is located along the main highway that connects the airport and the centro historico. It is 10km or 6.2 miles away from the airport. It is also in the area where modern buildings are starting to rise. The two big malls in asuncion are just a few steps away. Restaurants and stores for shopping abounds. Transportation by taxi, bus or uber are so accessible. It is also in a very safe area. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Their breakfast is excellent. The only minus point that I can give is the centralized airconditiong that you cannot control because there is no thermostat in the room and it can get very cold at night. Their hot shower and wi-fi all works well. All in all I enjoyed my stay in this small hotel and I will surely choose it again if I ever go back to Asuncion."
