"The foreign receptionist went above and beyond to help with our luggage, as my wife has mobility issues and it was too much for him and he was not feeling well. We stayed in our bedroom because my husband became quite ill ie gastric flu. We made the best of a not so pleasant time on our 34th wedding anniversary. Room service was wonderful."

Hotel itself is nearly 400 years old, the whole building has plenty of interesting features. Room was large, clean and very comfortable overlookingthe lovely gardens.
