"Overall we had a good experience and were thankful for all the little extras like firewood, oil and vinegar, foil and film wrap, salt and pepper, tea bags and sugar. We loved the mattress in the cottage and the Internet was working great despite the really bad storm we had this week. "Amazing! The house is so cozy, beautifully laid out and well appointed. Great mattresses, towels, water pressure, etc. But really it's the incredible views from every single window (green rolling hills dotted with white sheep and the ocean out in the distance) and being along the path to Brother's Point that makes this place so special. We stayed in 3 rentals during our UK trip and this was by far the best and we all wish we had booked it for longer. We certainly hope to be back some day! One...

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. "The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."
