"Having two cars this was perfect for our family. It was 20-30 minutes to drive to Bardolino, Garda etc and about 45 minutes to drive to the Monte Baldo lookout. There is a great restaurant with a view right around the corner, you could walk if you wanted. It was very hot while we were there so we opted to drive most places. The games etc provided were nice for the down time between our adventures and the other amenities would have been perfect had we stayed longer. Even without AC the house...

"Villa Rochelle is simply wonderful. The villa has everything you need and over many levels which lead into the many bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make your morning coffee or a pasta dish with ingredients from the nearby shops. The deli in town is called Bignotti and has everything from wine to cheese to meats. All bedrooms are well equipped and the top two bedrooms have aircon. The other bedrooms have fans. "The property is charmingly unique. Although undoubtedly old, the rooms and furnishings are full of character and amazingly spacious. The balcony view over Lake Garda is fabulous and everchanging. All seven of us could stay there all day. The town is well situated for day trips around the lake and to the Dolomites. And Jeanne was gracious, available, full of information and very personable. It was a one-of-a-kind experience which we really enjoyed even more than the subsequent Italy/Greece...
