"The villa was great and very clean and tidy. The location is rural which we loved and close to 2 wonderful beaches with great beach bars. Both the hotel and Spa that were close by had great food and well worth visiting. We had a lovely relaxing time which is just what my husband and I needed especially as the villa next door was empty our entire visit. Ugo was a great host answering any queries and supplying, when asked for pool towels and clean replacement towels and sheets as we were there 2 weeks. My only criticism, and it’s only a small one, is that the shower probably needs some upgrading and the outside lounge furniture needed better cushions as the ones provided were very thin and uncomfortable to sit on, the sun loungers however were great. "We loved our stay at this hotel which was a family holiday for 8 days. We booked two of the larger rooms (one double one single in each) as we were four (parents and children aged 19,21). The rooms were great with one of them semi divided down the middle. We could see the biggest rooms could take a family of 4 with younger children and those had the balcony. The hotel price is good - much less than central Calagari and with a car we had easy access to the city with a 15 min drive. The beach was 2 mins drive or 15-20 mins walk and was a nice beach with some restaurants. Other nicer beaches to the east were 20 mins drive which were good for snorkelling. There were restaurants nearby but we preferred to drive to the city and eat there most days. We visited a small winery town one day (Serdiana) and did a mountains walk. The hotel doesn’t have great views but not a big issue - it was quiet and the hotel had feee parking. The aircon was fine although we never had really hot weather. It may have struggled more in 36-40c. The staff were very helpful and room service great- all very clean. The breakfast we only had one day - it was fine but we didn’t want much so found a nice place opposite that did coffee and pastries for a good price. Most restaurants are good prices for pizza / pasta unless you go very fancy. Drinks are quite cheap and ice creams. As a UK family it was nice to go somewhere not so populated with Brits. The mini bar was useful as a fridge. Thank you Best Western!"

"This house was everything we needed for a 10 day trip with my husband and siblings (4 people). Great views of the mountains and the ocean, surrounded by a lovely olive orchard. If you’re looking for a quiet, rustic Sardinian experience, this is for you. We visited some of the nuragi within walking distance, and the beaches near the house are really incredible - our favorite by far was Spiaggia di Cristolaxedu, the water was crystal clear turquoise, beautiful clean sand, views of Torre di Salinas, and an excellent little beach bar where we often ate lunch and enjoyed aperol spritzes in the shade. Our favorite dinner was a short drive away at Agriturismo il Nuraghe, excellent and affordable pre fixe menu with amazing Sardinian cuisine. Being here in mid-July, the sun was quite hot by midday but the sea water was like a bath, rivaling even the best beaches in Maui in my experience. We also cooked a lot in the house, it was easy to go food shopping in nearby Muravera, we definitely enjoyed culurgioni and fregola for the first time! Glenda was an excellent host, always responsive and Manuel was always there to immediately resolve any issues. As a group of Americans, I know we can have high standards for these kinds of experiences, but it was quite comfortable for us. We definitely hope to return based on this experience."
