"Joel and Cidelia were amazing hosts who treated us like family. Joel built his home and the sky domes from scratch. We had the wonderful opportunity to cook with Cidelia and have dinner with their family. The domes were awesome. It does get a little cold, but they were more than accommodating with blankets. Be prepared to glamp. The location and views were amazing. We enjoyed beer and a beautiful view overlooking the valley on the mini bar near our sky dome. "

"If you can’t do the Belmond in Valle Segrado, this is the next best choice. Albiet an older property, the grounds are lovely and to our great delight an alpaca on site. "We stayed at Illas because our original hotel was overbooked, however, in the end we were so happy to have stayed here! The staff is available 24 hours a day and they were all super friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is located just 30 seconds off a main street in the lower part of town which made for an easy walk, they have a little corner with water, drink and snacks you can buy, general services such as taxis and laundry all easily arranged and everything can be paid by card....
