The Ultimate Gathering Place at the Beach! The Pelican at Arch Cape is a large beachfront home located just 8 miles south of Cannon Beach, Oregon with private access to pristine Pacific Beach where small rivers lead to the sea and waves break on monolithic rock formations on either end.

An open concept living area with a wall of windows opens the home to unobstructed, panoramic views of Castle Rock, the beach and amazing sunsets. Take it all in from an expansive deck featuring a hot tub. A warm and well-appointed home, you're free to enjoy your large or intimate gatherings at the beach, while being within easy distance to nearby quaint towns, attractions, hikes and more beaches to explore.

BEDROOMS
1. Bedroom #1 - The Porthole Suite
En suite primary bedroom. Wake up to views of the Pacific ocean. A king size bed, walk in closet, private deck. Bathroom has a large walk in shower with fold down seat. Located upstairs on main floor and includes a SmartTV.

2. Bedroom #2 - The Lighthouse Suite
En suite primary bedroom with a soaker tub and separate shower, king size bed, private entrance to the deck and views. Secondary laundry in walk-in closet. Located upstairs on main floor.

3. Bedroom #3 - The Caribbean Suite
En suite primary bedroom with walk-in shower, king size bed and private entrance to the ocean side of the house. Located on the lower floor.

4. Bedroom #4 - The Lummi Room
Queen bed and twin bed. Located on the lower floor.

5. Bedroom #5 - The Bunk Room
Bunk room with built-in bunks totaling 4 queen beds, each with outlet and lighting. Located on the lower floor.

BATHROOMS
Upstairs has two bathrooms: one with a walk-in shower, and one with a separate tub and shower. Both have double vanities. Downstairs has two bathrooms: one with walk-in shower and one with tub/shower combo. Both have double vanities and enclosed toilets.

LIVING AREA
Upstairs is open concept with views from every angle. Living room, kitchen and dining area all look out over the ocean. Access to hot tub, expansive deck and beach.

The living room boasts a large SmartTV with Cable and access to apps like Netflix. A fireplace is ready for cool nights or just crackling ambiance.

A fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and all the tools needed for great meals or heating up ramen. A large table plus side table and bar top can accommodate 14 easily, a high chair is provided.

A BBQ is located on the deck at the front of the house.

Downstairs game room has large flat screen SmartTV.

An inflatable mattress and pack-n-play are available for extra sleeping space.

Large deck overlooking the beach and ocean, only steps away, on a low bank. There are some rocks to walk on before reaching the sand. A hot tub, and deck chairs and tables invite guests to enjoy the panoramic view of Castle Rock.

ARCH CAPE
Arch Cape is a bedroom neighborhood between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, a very quiet, sandy, long beach with our own tide pools, creeks and 180 degree views. Minutes from Cannon Beach, we are also within easy distance of Manzanita and Nehalem, Hug Point beach, Oswald West State Park and Cape Falcon, Seaside, Astoria, great dining, live theater, movies, and good coffee..... You won't run out of things to do, if you can ever pull yourself away from the view out the front windows.

BEST FAMILY FUN
Great location with something for everyone! Two family rooms, hot tub, great views, and amazing/easy access to the beach make this house perfect for family fun. The additional (and super comfortable) furniture in the upstairs family room was a wonderful surprise.

Amazing Trip
This place was amazing to spend a family vacation. The only thing I wish was that I would have booked for longer period of time because we didn't want to leave. There was more than enough room for all of us and contacting the host with questions was so easy. I would highly recommend this home for a family getaway. We hope to plan another trip here in the future.

The perfect Beach House for a Family to be together and enjoy each other.
The Pelican is the perfect Beach House for your whole family to stay. It was large enough for Your kids and their kids. Tons of sleeping quarters and you are right on the beach. We loved the hot tub. And you are only minutes from Cannon Beach and Seaside.

Pelican is our " go too " annual family vacation
This is our second stay at the Pelican and we will be coming back! The location, the view, and the house are incredibly perfect for our family. The downstairs area allows for family spreading out and quiet for the littles and the two masters upstairs are just perfect. Only reason for 4 stars is dishwasher broke first night out but it will be fixed soon and we will return! Love this place!

What a find!
From the moment we drove up until the day we left, Pelican House did not disappoint. Clean, roomy, fully stocked…this was an outstanding location for our getaway with friends. The location is perfect away from the crowded beaches just a few miles away. The beach was sparsely crowded and made walking on it feel like it was private. The host was responsive and available for any questions we had. This is an amazing spot!

A Perfect Vacation!
Eleven of us (ages 5-75) stayed at The Pelican for 8 days. It was wonderful! Great sleeping accomodations, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, a large, beautiful deck (almost right on the beach!), and the location is amazing! There is good beach access; lots of room to play and walk, never crowded, and an easy walk to the tide pools at the Arch. The views at The Pelican are beautiful! We are already looking forward to another stay next summer!

A perfect house for couples. Allowed for ample space to play games, read books, watch tv and cook. The house is set up well to be able to have everyone together or space from the group. I would highly recommend and know we will be back to this same house.

Another perfect weekend
This is our annual extended family & friend anniversary weekend. Being visiting here for about 12 years. The house is a dream but what is more attractive is it’s cozy & homely. Luxury accom is often missing heart , not this one. Everyone curls up for movies or games or hiking with dogs, watching the sunsets, cooking together in a beautifully appointed kitchen . The list goes on….

Amazing property right on the beach! This house is stunning..spotlessly clean, updated and extremely comfortable, has every possible amenity you could need, fully stocked kitchen which made meals effortless, close to Cannon Beach but still very quiet and private, very responsive and friendly host! We celebrated my 60th bday with family and we hope to come back again next year! Do not hesitate to rent this property!

Our 5th time at this house - love it!
Arch Cape is a wonderful beach - not crowded. We can walk to tide pools or even Hug Point if we want to go for a long walk! This home has amazing beach decor and is located right on the beach! We love being able to enjoy the ocean views from inside the home or even better - on the new deck. The bunk room is a hit with the kids and they can spread out with the downstairs bonus room. We look forward to our week at the beach at this home every summer!!!

Ultimate beach vacation
My family and I spent three amazing nights at the Pelican and we couldn’t have wished for more. The house was clean, well maintained and well stocked. The location could t be beat and there were plenty of beds for all of us. Space to come together or space to retreat when needed. Close to town but far enough away to feel like we were all alone. The weather could not have been any better. We made fun meals, played provided games, hot tubbed, walked the beach and hung out on the deck for sunsets. We haven’t been to Arch Cape in a few years. On our way home and already thinking about our next trip. Thank you so much for providing your lovely home to us for our stay.

As always, the best way to experience the Oregon coast 😃
We have been staying at The Pelican for a number of years. I can’t say enough how well-appointed it is. Everything is well thought out and it really makes for the best experience. On a side note, the previous deck setup was awesome, the new one is unbelievable. Such a great space. But perhaps more impressive is the host, Natalie. Truly goes above and beyond yo make every stay something special and it is always so appreciated. As always, very fortunate to be able to return annually and very thankful for such a great host to share their home.

40th Anniversary Week
We wanted to have our whole family out to the Oregon coast to celebrate our 40th Wedding anniversary. We had my wife and myself, our 3 adult children and 2 spouses and 6 grandchildren from 6 months to 11 years. The "Pelican" did not disappoint! It was as advertised. Plenty of room, great location on the beach, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with all the cookware we needed. It was a very special place for a very special occasion. Worth every penny!
